As it should be. It seems to be getting to the point where the things people associate with Americans are are gun violence, fundamentalist Christianity, and gross obesity.

I did and it didn't really get my dander up.

People have a right to raise their kids as they see fit after all.

As long as the kid is not physically abused and cared for who is anyone else to say?

Kids like this knock on my door while the parents stand in the street so they can sell me candy bars for their school. I'm a sucker for kids and buy more candy bars than I'll ever need.

If one really wants to get down to it a "fifth generation holy roller" is not totally different than a "fifth generation welfare recipient".

Survival basically peppered with beliefs.

A "fifth generation welfare recipient" has been taught to "use the system".
A "fifth generation holy roller" is trained to mold the system so we can have a utopian, theologically based system. According to their interpretation of course.

Sometimes they may even overlap.
