Because it exemplifies the extremes that alternate lifestyles are foisted upon the vast majority of us. When you live in a capitol city and you take your family out to eat unaware that it is gay pride day, these scenes are suddenly unavoidable... And if Disney requires a parental control to be overridden to witness a Beatle smoking a cigarette, then shouldn't that same parental control be in place to get to the princess kissing a princess movies rather than that be the very first offering that shows up when a kid turns on Disney?
Do you judge the heterosexuals by what goes on in New Orleans during Mardi Gras? Or every day on Fremont street? Have you ever actually seen scenes like posted above in person? I agree they're too extreme for public, but I don't think it's fair to conflate that behavior with all queer people.
Never been there and assure you that I don't go out of my way to see public expressions of sexuality. And I too do not equate that behavior to all. It is the fringe... The extremes that the rest of us are forced to tolerate. And yes, I do believe it is catering to the fringe when the Disney Channel's default page is a selection of gay pride movies.
Too far for general audiences? . . . Are you kidding? . . . Those events are held in public places! Talk about being in-your-face demonstrative for no reason other than to get under the skin of those with whom one disagrees. Those turds are complete arseholes.
There is no reason programming for young children should be sexualized. Disney jumped into the woke debate in Fl and lost. Hopefully parents will see what is happening.
We've all heard the saying "It starts at the top." Did you all see the meeting our Vice President took? The person who was put "in charge" of our southern border and this ends up on a calendar how? I've been in management a long time and I will only take a meeting if I feel it's going to be productive to the issues at hand. We see where this administrations priorities land. Wow. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ka...t-mistaken-video-caption-from-queer-eye-visit
