Moen, if you'll watch the video you will see:

One sign said, "Republicans Hate People". Definite leftie.

Another sign said, "Egypt Showed the Way. Down with the Dictator. - SocialistWorker.Org." I don't think SocialistWorker.Org is a right-wing organization, do you?

There was a video clip of Democratic State Senator Lena Taylor comparing Walker to Hitler. Another definite leftie.

Now, are you blind or do you just refuse to see?

I'm sure that there are plenty of people from the Left carrying signs and organizing but you can't assume every sign, every over the top comment, every protester is from the Left. With a state like Wisconsin, it would be naive to believe that all government employees are from the Left. The only thing you can actually say for sure is that the assault on these people's collective bargaining rights is definitely coming from the Right.

I think you meant to say, "I apologize, Scotty. You're correct". Apology accepted, my friend.

Think again and try haaaaaaaarder this time. Your assumption that the signs are all from the Left is just that, an assumption. Nothing more. Just admit it.

Someday you are going to wake up and discover there is a real world out there. Maybe?, but I am not holding my breather until then.

Tsk Tsk... You only assume that I meant that all the signs were from lefties. You need to watch the video, use your grey matter, pick out the liberal attacks, judge them for what they are and make up your own mind. That shouldn't take but a moment.

I did watch it and I watched it again to count the Hitler signs. I saw two. One woman made the point that Hitler dissolved the unions in 1933. That seems like a pretty apt comparison from history. They could have been Republicans holding the signs or Democrats or even Independents or no party affiliation at all. I just don't know how you think you can tell which party those two signs belonged to by seeing them on a video without even seeing who was holding them. Perhaps it's your God-like powers.
These people are from all walks of life and the only thing they have in common is that they are state employees. How does that make them either Right or Left. They simply hate what this idiot Governor is trying to do. I don't blame them be they Democrats or Republicans. They have a legitimate beef with this guy. Prove they are Democrats or shut up.

I hate to burst your bubble, no wait a minute, I love to burst your bubble. What they are referring to here is the current budget shortfall not the $3 billion projected shortfall in the 2011-'13 budget you are referring to. You see, there is a deficit which is associated with the current budget and then there is a debt that is a total of the ongoing deficits. Try and keep up.

OOPS! Look at those numbers again!

Wisconsin state budget - Sunshine Review

That sure looks like a 3.6 billion deficit to me. By most standards, you must include all spending. Not just the spending that fits your program.

So, I suppose they immediately lost their argument.

... and compared what Hitler did to what Walker is doing. That sounds like a comparison to me any way you slice it.

I don't need God-like powers to know that "SocialistWorker.org" is a left-wing website. Here's the link if you'd like to check them out (if you haven't already): SocialistWorker.org | Daily news and opinion from the left

I was commenting on the hypocrisy of the left-wing (Nancy Pelosi, Bill Maher, etc.) who state that it's only the right-wing who engage in this type of rhetoric. This video proves otherwise, in particular the "socialist worker.org" sign. I think you might be quick to assume it was a right-wing crowd if they were holding signs that said, "Don't Tread On Me" or "Taxed Enough Already".

Well, of course they do. They're going to have to pay out of their pockets to prop up their bankrupt government. But, that's what runaway spending will do. Somebody has to pay the piper, you know.

I never said they were Democrats. There you go assuming again.

No this video only proves that these protesters, be they Republican or Democrat, engage in this type of rhetoric. Nothing you have stated proves that this is strictly a crowd of Democrats. Yet you are willing to say because there are people from the Left, all the signs are from the Left. Nonsense! This isn't a Right or Left issue. It is a state workers issue and you have not proven that all state workers in Wisconsin are Democrats. But it is what you are implying.
I would assume a Right wing crowd if it were the Tea Party crowd because the Tea Party is a Right wing group. State workers are neither Left nor Right. I have no doubt that there are people in the crowd from all political persuasions. You assume the opposite.

What is wrong? Something like the facts get in your way? So far you have done a great job posting funny math, lies, and insults. Are you going to get around to some facts?

What the hell is wong with you. Lead paint in your home?

WI Fiscal Bureau: "More Than Half" Of The Budget Shortfall A Result Of Walker Initiatives. As TPM reported, the Wisconsin fiscal bureau's report "holds that 'more than half' of the new shortfall comes from three of Walker's initiatives." From TPM:

You can read the fiscal bureaus report here (PDF). It holds that "more than half" of the new shortfall comes from three of Walker's initiatives:

    • $25 million for an economic development fund for job creation, which still holds $73 million because of anemic job growth.

    • $48 million for private health savings accounts -- a perennial Republican favorite.

    • $67 million for a tax incentive plan that benefits employers, but at levels too low to spur hiring.

All of the articles say either the "new" or "current" budget shortfall. Are you really that thick or is reading comprehension not your forte? God! It's like talking to the local town idiot. And yes that is another insult and one well deserved by your lack of intelligence.

Tell me this isn't completely about a governor trying to break a union!!!

"Democrats offered again Saturday to agree to the parts of Walker's proposal that would double workers' health insurance contributions and require them to contribute 5.8 percent of their salary to their pensions, so long as workers retained their rights to negotiate with the state as a union."

They've already agreed to the increases in their insurance contributions and the increases in their pension contributions. Busting the union doesn't help balance the budget in any way.

    And it goes on to say;
And you TPM still does not explain this direct quote YOU posted.

And then we have the copy of the budget I posted.

Despite all of the, it is a liberal BS so you believe that as opposed to the facts. That sounds like you.

Budgets are always estimates. I know, I do them all day. You are changing the subject to avoid admitting that you were wrong. It's OK, I know that you are wrong. You made a stupid point because you misunderstood what you were reading. You were so eager to take the opposite side that you tried to make a nonsensical point and failed miserably. I don't need to prove you wrong to puff up my ego. That would be a sad waste of my talents. Watching you flounder in all your glory is just enough comedy to keep me coming back. The show must go on.

Changing the subject? You brought it up in post #113 and that is all my post have been about - you /liberal lies.

You have no support, no evidence except some liberal BS, but I lose even with you evi9dence you posted to contradict your point. Good one. Beside that, I know I won when you go off on your insults.
