So, moron joe doesn't think (imagine that, huh?) BO involves himself in trivial matters as an armed stand off between a gov't agency & US citizens yet somehow BO finds time to interrupt a trip abroad to talk about an NBA owner who apparently made a racist comment?
I'm sure that you completely agree with this NBA owner's comments and his right to say whatever he wants but mostly you just like that some guy had a public racist tirade you are too cowardly to say yourself. It's a win-win for you. You get to see liberals angry about racist comments and you also get to play those racist comments over and over in a continuous loop at your next white supremacist meeting. Its a good week for you.
While no one is born racist, just as no one is born Christian or Muslim, the way Republicans seem to view those who have adopted racist views is similar in some respects to the way Democrats used to view gays. We don't necessarily disagree with you, we are pretty much on your side, and we really need your votes. But please keep your mouth shut, don't make waves, and don't embarrass us by being open and up front about who you are or what you believe. I think in the eyes of the mainstream Republican establishment and especially of the media and money guys Bundy's sin is not being racist, it is expressing his racism in public. Especially after they had taken up his cause and made him a Conservative hero. Now they are having to backpedal like crazy. Never fun. In the eyes of his Bagger friends and paranoid gun nut extremists, on the other hand, Bundy was simply expressing what they all believe to be true and they respect him for it.
I can't speak for the "mainstream Republican establishment", but I can speak for myself. Personally, I couldn't care less that Bundy is a racist. That's his business. Furthermore, I couldn't care less whether or not he expresses his views in public. He has a constitutional right to do so and every American (Left, Right or otherwise) should be poised to defend that right. The same goes with Donald Sterling or any other racist. Or sexist. Or homophobe. I couldn't care less that they choose ignorance over intelligence, but that's no one's choice to make expect their own.
It wouldn't surprise me. Liberals seem to think that a person doesn't deserve the freedom to say what they want. When I hear liberals saying that people don't deserve the freedom to (fill-in-the-blank) it makes me feel we're headed back to Germany circa 1933. Thank for nothing, freedom-hating liberals!
I find it telling the people you can't speak for and then the people you can speak for. You would think that it would be the exact opposite.
Update from Bunkerville: There's been a schism in the rabble of well armed poseurs that settled in the area to "protect" the asshat Bundy. Who'da thunk it? "Nevada Ranch Militias Turn Against Each Other Over Drone-Attack Theory" | Gawker
A major issue we face in America is former military personnel wanting to continue utilizing the skills they learned while serving our country. Perhaps the military should have a "deprogramming" program in place that addresses these types of issues. They trained people to kill, maybe they should train them how not to kill before they leave the service. They could say something like "You shall not go into a hotel, motel, movie-theater, strip-mall or any other building and attempt to kill everyone you can, soldier! Do you understand, maggot ?!! You will not use any firearm to injure or kill anyone unless the U.S. government orders you to do so! Do you understand, you little piss-wad ?!!" You know, something like that? Just a thought.
An article about the hypocrisy of Mr. Mike Vanderbeogh, leader of the militia group Three Percenters, and one of the gun-totin' blowhards still enjoying the Liberty Jamboree down in Bunkerville: "Patriot Leader Who Threatened To Rip Harry Reid’s Balls Off, Lives Off Gov Disabililty Checks" | FreakOutNation This tough guy hates the "collectivism" that he believes Obama is promoting, at the same time he's benefiting from an "entitlement" program which exemplifies that "collectivism."
Actually, no, but it seems that's the new Kool-Aid being forced on you & your ilk by the BO administration.
I'm just going to go out on a limb here and guess that if you wake up in the morning and look out the window and it happens to be cloudy, it's Obama's fault. Am I right or am I right?
You'd be wrong but what's new, right? Think about it...this admin wanted us to believe an obscure Youtube video was the reason for a terrorist attack that killed 4 Americans but sending armed federal agents & assualt vehicles to handle a cattle grazing dispute was a wise move? moron joe, you & your ilk have to be a special kind of stupid!
