Why it makes sense that Donald Trump should be the next President of the USA

I get tired of hearing this quote. Most people who use it have no understanding of what was actually a surplus and what wasn't. I'd bet 99% have no real understanding. Half the books were a surplus and half were not. The national debt still increased so was there a surplus? In the way it was done, had Clinton stayed in office for the next 20 years would we be running a (real) surplus the entire time, including now and would we be well on our way out of debt? Would it be feasible at all? If he could come back for only four more years after Obama, would there be a surplus any year? If he had eight? I think it's high time to see it for what it was and get over it already.

But hey, if you want a warm fuzzy in the end, I feel the same way about Regan. If I had a chance to talk to Sean Hannity, I'd ask him if he really believed Regan reincarnated and re-elected, could turn the US around simply by cutting taxes like this was the early 80s again. If he said yeah, I'd say he was on crack. And I'd call myself a fan of the program.

 

Wow, you guys have got some serious rants goin' on ...I feel like I should toss a few coins your way and see if I could get you all to bite yourselves for a buck. Reasoned debate this is not. I can't rant like this... I simply can't, it would really ruin the crazy you know? Like the crazy guy on the corner deciding to take his medication one day ...and here you are, waiting for him to start barkin' about nothin' in particular ...and he's showered, shaved, brushed his normally dark-brown teeth to a slightly lighter shade. You'd all feel robbed if I said anything. In a way, it'd be crazy to say anything. Would that count? Is THAT crazy enough? Nah... never mind ...here have a cup of sanity (tosses nothing) ...on me.
