Back up man. I'm a Republican. And I'm no racist. Oh wait; I am. But you really didnt have many good canidates. Be serious.
Can't win ion the facts so you are going to play the race card. Go for it, but i will bet it gets you no where here.
A black guy? A BLACK GUY?!?!? I'm stunned that you would even say that, Moen! What in the world does the man's heritage have anything to do with it? When you say things like that, YOU are the one who comes off sounding racist! I've come to realize that you twist reality and bend the facts to suit your agenda, but I can't believe you've lowered yourself to the level of playing the race card. Seriously? wow................. If you believe in a liberal agenda that promotes socialism, then he's certainly the best person for the job. Now you're just delusional. There you go with the "racist" thing again... and exposing your absolute ignorance.
Gotta hand it to you, dr moen...you were able to include every last ditch lefty argument in a single post. Hitler? Racism? Really? You criticize the Rep field when the best the dims had to offer was Obama & Biden and you managed to put both in the WH? Heck, even the Clintons had the vision to know what a bust BO would be for this country!
I'm referring to the driving force behind the Republicans, it's base, the hardcore ever right moving group that pushes the radical Right wing agenda. The people Boehner is so afraid of offending. The people that own the Right in this country. The people pushing out the party moderates. They are exactly as I have described them. Obama on the other hand, has dissed the Left wing base time and time again in the last two years. He is as center as any politician can be in this divided political environment. Lunatics like Bachmann, Palin, and Trump lead the field every time there is a poll conducted of the Republican faithful. They are as far Right as you can get and yet enjoy majority support from Right wingers that see themselves as center. Nothing could be so absurd and delusional as that but that is the state of the Right wing movement today. The extreme wing of the party pushing the agenda. No wonder the wealthy corporate elitists find them so easy to manipulate.
The same group of Americans who voted some many Dims out of office in the last election? Heck, they oughta have attention & consideration given to them.
This statement just demonstrates your ignorance. Turnout was about 42% in the midterms and lockstep Republicans voted as they always do...in lockstep. They account for about 30% of the voting population. The midterms weren't nearly as much about the country moving to the Right as it was about the Left staying home. You tell yourself what you need to tell yourself but you and I both know that when voting turnout is high, the Cons lose big time. Never mind the times they engaged in voter fraud which seems to be more often than ever. Since November, the Cons have alienated minorities, women, the unemployed, the LBGT community, veterans, and now they have set their sights on seniors with the Ryan plan. Any bets about the 2012 outcome? The lunatic fringe Right makes a lot of noise but they can't stand up the the majority of us.
First, Trump is not a hardcore right wing Republican. He is a New Yorker and has supported many Democrats over the years. Second, you speak of the radical right wing agenda as if your beloved democrats are centrists. Every complaint you have about people like Bachmann, Palin, and others of the Republican party can by made about Pelosi, Reid, Dean, and other lunatics of the Democratic party. You seem not to understand how politics works. In order to gain the party nomination for President, the candidate needs to pander to the party faithful. In order to win the general election, they need to gravitate away from the base towards the center. The Republican candidates need to get the party nomination before they can run for President which necessitates a more conservative tack. Obama is the incumbent and does not need to win that battle. He is free to start campaigning directly to the people of the United States which requires a more centrist view if he wants to win. Look at it this way, your left wing radical vote is already cast, Obama does need to convince you. He needs to convince all of the moderate Democrats and Independents. A battle that he is losing badly according to recent polls. Obama Job Approval at 41%, Tying His Low Reuters Poll: Obama Approval Slumps Among Independents BTW, what is the agenda that you are talking about. Seems to me that the entire agenda revolves around fiscal responsibility.
So you are saying that the Reps won because the dips were too lazy to vote? Yet somehow they still won and that is what counts. And, yes, I will bet on the outcome of the 2012 election. The reps will take over the senate and increase their lead in the house. I am not yet sure about BO, but right now I am leaning to his demise.
Again with putting words in my mouth. Is that all you ever do? Democrats are the big tent. The Cons are just a bunch of well-financed business interests. There is a reason the Cons didn't want disclosure of campaign donations under Citizens United. Then everyone could see exactly who is buying the Cons and what they are getting for their money. The problem with people like you is that you are proud of what your party has become not disgusted by it. The ends do not justify the means.
I guess you need to learn how to read along with your mentor. I did not put any words in your mouth. When you end a sentence with a ?, that mean it is a question. And then you assign me to a party, would you care to guess which party that might be? (Notice the question mark.)
What? David was talking about the right. They were fooling themselves about Obama? The right was? And I'm pretty sure he was referring to the legislative elections.
I doubt he was limiting himself to the right, but aside from that, just what do you think I said wrong?
Nothing. I made it all up. David never said aything in this thread. David is a fair guy who would praise Dems as well as damn Repubs.. And you too. Yes both sides were trying to believe Obama's lies so both sides voted only some Dems out of office.
