why do people think bush is evil?

    Because the average American voter, so used to the 5 second sound bite, finds it much easier in his/her short attention span to understand a controversy involving a gay congressman rather than trade deficits or the exchange rates

    Lets face the simple fact that the war is and has been grossly mismanaged though.

    Perhaps. Lots of wars have been mismanaged. The War for Independence, the Civil War, the 1916 invasion of Mexico, the Great War, the 1918/19 Expedition to Russia, the Second World War, Korea, Vietnam, the Iranian hostage rescue mission, Grenada, Bosnia, just to name a few. But mismanagement doesn't equal evil. If it did, every single President would by your definition be evil.
