Who's fault is it?

Who's fault is it that the Republican party is self destructing right now? Seriously, is it the "Democratic Machine"?

Methinks not. Implosion comes from within. The Republican party has shown they have very little unity when one gets down to it. The Democratic party does for now.

Was I disappointed in the Democratic party in the past 2 years - yes. Seems none had enough balls to stand up to Bush or anything he said at times.

This should have given the Republicans a much better shot at retaining the Presidency but apparently they didn't know how to go about it.

They ran about as horrible of a campaign as they possibly could and it showed at the polls. Obama really had to do very little but show up and smile.
Does this make him bad, or as I've read in the past, "a very bad man"? Nope, made him a brilliant politician taking advantage of the other sides weaknesses.

Gonna tell me a smart Republican wouldn't do the same?

Did the Democrats win by a good margin or did the Republicans lose by a good margin? Who's fault was it?

Perhaps it is a good thing that the Republicans are busy taking pot shots at one another. NOT because I'm some whacked out Liberal as darn near any staunch Republican would call me but because they need to regroup. They need to look deep within and figure out what in the hell they really are doing.

The worst thing that could happen to this country is for ONE party to take over indefinitely. As far as that goes I would love to see MORE parties involved.

Why? At some point we might actually see MORE politicians that actually gave a darn about this country and it's people. We are not there now of this I am certain.

Now we have to see what Obama is really made of. He IS our elected President. Yes, I DID vote for him as if it's news to anyone.

I'm not afraid. I won't buy into the "fear". Yes, I DO hope.
By the standards this country is used to things really do suck. It's not just a bunch of people wanting "hand outs". MAN I'm tired of hearing that hogwash line.

It's about people maybe having a chance as Americans. We are still a great nation but a nation that is slipping horribly.
Having the right to voice my opinion is one of the greatest things ABOUT this country.

For anyone that feels I don't have that right I guess that would make YOU the anti-American.

This election was over before it started. I'm beginning to think McCain the patriotic D/R hybrid senator from Arizona, (with a campaign they nearly pulled the plug on a year ago) was never supposed to be much more than cannon fodder for the party this election.

They knew after Bush there would be almost no chance. This is the last chance McCain would have so he could afford to lose because it doesn't matter now. Nobody wanted a guaranteed loss on their resume. Picking Palin was a huge risk that nobody else, nobody in their right mind would have attempted. The guy wasn't real well liked by the party to begin with. At BEST it was an attempt to snag disgruntled dems, voters on the fence, the women's vote and lonely men. At best. It all makes more sense as time goes on. Had they won, who knows what they even would have done with it.

This doesn't put Obama's win in the greatest light. Certainly nothing to be giddy about.

It stings to agree with Clembo, but I must.

John McCain has for the last 7 years, been an a-hole to the Repos. Vindictave Johnny we call him here. F-U Johnny.

He has failed us as a Senator, a miserable represenative to our wishes and wants as a state. Voted against the " fence " every chance he had, tried to ram the " it's not Amnesty" amnesty bill down our throats.

You Keating folks better get another line on this guy, you throwin blanks. John McCain was exonerated, get over with it. There is better stuff on this guy.

He votes only on occasion, yet, we had no choice but to try to elect him to prevent the other candidate.

I accept and respect Obama now, HE is my president. Cant do much worse .

I really don't think it would have mattered who ran. I said during the primaries that if the Democrats couldn't win this election, they were probably done as a political party for the foreseeable future.

Yes, McCain was not a good candidate and he made a lot of bad decisions and he did not run a good campaign at all but there was no doubt the last 8 years and the sitting president were going to be the major factor in this election. And that was before the economy tanked.

Well, one thing has happened to Arizona that rocks.....poor America

B-Rock is picking Janet Napalitano ( our governor ) for a cabinet post, she'll soon be out of here. Dept of Homeland Security should be ran by Joe Arpaio, our Sheriff, NOT the lady that has been an open border advocate for the illegals

Also, he has Michigans governor on his team of economic advisors? OUCH.

Who do you think she wanted to win? ;) Think about it, we have never had a female president before, lil lone a black person, so Barack just paved the way for her Presidential run. ;) Without him, she didn't have a chance. :D
