WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama has landed a spot on Jay Leno's late-night talk show, a chance for the president to add a light touch to his effort to get the economy back on track.... More...
They haven't got out of campaign mode yet. That's why he keeps flying all over the country giving speeches for support of policy, holding focus groups for govenrment policies like they did for campaign commercials, and are launching attacks at other elected officials and private citizens from the White House. All they know how to do is run a campaign, they have no idea how to govern.
It seems they haven't figured it out yet. I know he won, unfortunately, because he keeps doing things like this... Washington Times - EDITORIAL: Guns on a plane
I have a hard time believing this. The editorial didn't even make a lot of sense. I think I will wait and see how this develops. I also think it would make bigger headlines if this was in fact true. At least have a DAMN good reason for it.
I respect the office. I respect our newly elected president. I just don't trust him. Not one iota. Not even for a second. Not for all the bailout and stimulus money put together.
That's my point Chi. and Obama seems to be the greatest offender of this. It's time to stop campaigning and start presidenting.
So because he is making an appearance on Leno, he is not being a President, um okay... I swear, you haters find a way to spin and criticize EVERY single thing he does, no matter what. He takes action and does something about the economy, he's wrong. He decides to make an appearance on Leno and he is wrong because he should be doing something else. But when he does whatever else that is President-like, it is still always wrong. Sigh.. it is pointless arguing with you guys...
