I admire Thomas Jefferson. He had his hand in so much besides politics and not necessarily for personal gain as our current President/Dictator wanna be.

President Nixon was a foreign policy guru until his death. Think what you will but he was STILL well respected by his peers and China.

I liked Reagan as well.

Interesting Ruben but if one looks back many Presidents AFTER Nixon consulted him for his advice on foreign policy.
To me that would show respect from peers and NOT just in China.

currently, i like obama and palin. because their were both young and energetic. as for experiences. the other two surpassed.

 

Richard Nixon tried to throw a Presidential election using the state security apparatus.....

which then threw the country into an ultra-left turn and completely created a paranoid mindset towards the government having serious long lasting negative fall out to both the domestic policy, and most importantly the foreign policy, eventually culminating with the destruction of our relationship with Iran and the boiling over of the Middle East and Africa.

There is not much that can be said after that....
