Ok, in case you missed it, there have been a few cases where major BO contributors have rec'd money (or at least gov't loan money)- billions in taxpayer money- to pursue ventures that had been previously shot down (some critics were within his admin) due to risk & instability. BO pressed the issue & the companies quickly bellied up (just as he was warned would happen). In the case of the Scandanavian electric car company, they simply took our cash & took it home.
1 instance of this activity is bad enough, multiple cases is corruption.

You make a good point De Orc. I was reading an earlier post that just did not make sense to my scandal post. How does trying to do something good for the country become a scandal or corrupt, unless the person initiating the laws or bill, benefit from it financially? I don't know of anything Obama has done to benefit financially from what he has done. He has actually done more harm to himself, because he has attempted to compromise. Now don't get me wrong, I am not an Obama advocate, I disagree with a lot of the things he has done, but I also agree with a lot of things he has done. I can't say I know of any corrupt thing Obama has done, and I don't think anyone else can. Is there some questionable things like the guns, yes, and those should be investigate thoroughly.

And your proof that President Obama is corrupt? sorry David so far you have not put forward a single case that shows that he has personally benefited from anything all you have is a whole case load of assumptions and innuendoes
Let us assume that the President was on the take for one moment This is the lead up to a Presidential election the Republican party would have been in full flow all over the news media about it, the town hall meetings would be ablaze with it (yet so far not a peep)
Those who oppose him in his own party would be having a field day
Or are you also trying to tell us that they know but are unwilling to broadcast it for some unknown reason? or possibly because they themselfs do not wish there own dealings to be broadcast to the world

The fact is De Orc, that no one can show that Obama is corrupt, or it definitely would have been published or shown by now. If what he is doing is corruption, then every president in the past has been corrupt. I think it is interesting to see everyone who dislikes a president try to pin corruption on them. It was done to Bush, Clinton and others by the people who do not agree with that president's policies. We need to concentrate on finding ways that we agree on to correct the problems, instead of attacking the president because we disagree with him. It seems to me - and I could be wrong, I really could be, and I am sure someone here will point out how wrong I am - that the president has tried to work with the opposition and attempted to compromise. This shows because of the way some of the more liberal democrats have gotten mad at him because of his compromises.

More corruption in the Obama Administration? It certainly looks like it:

New documents show high-risk concern behind DOE loan guarantees other than Solyndra, Issa pushes for answers

    January 13, 2012
Newly surfaced confidential documents show credit agency Standard and Poor’s considered Beacon Power — a now-bankrupt green energy storage company — a risky investment, even with the $43 million loan guarantee President Barack Obama’s Energy Department was planning to, and eventually did give the company.

The documents, first obtained by CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson, show how the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Jonathan Silver — the now-former loan guarantee program administrator – asked Standard and Poor’s to conduct a credit analysis prior to investing taxpayer money in Beacon Power.

Silver resigned in mid-October 2011 as congressional inquiries into the DOE loan guarantee program heated up following the loss of $528 million of taxpayer money to solar panel manufacturer Solyndra when it went bankrupt. Solyndra received the first-ever loan guarantee under the program, and was the first to go bankrupt. At least four more loan guarantee recipients have filed for bankruptcy in Solyndra’s wake, and other recipients have shown signs of financial weakness.

In the case of Beacon Power, even if the company ended up receiving the DOE loan guarantee, Standard and Poor’s analysis indicated it still wouldn’t be a smart investment. The credit agency’s ratings services division assigned Beacon Power a “CCC+” Final Rating.

Standard and Poor’s defines a “CCC” rating as “currently vulnerable” and “dependent upon favorable business, financial, and economic conditions to meet its financial requirements.”
California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa, the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, is one of the leaders in Congress spearheading investigations into the DOE’s loan guarantee program. On Friday morning, Issa released a letter he sent to Energy Secretary Steven Chu on Jan. 3 demanding answers.
