I've pretty much given up going to bars because of the smoke. I enjoy listening to the bands, checking out the food, etc., but I've found that most smokers are inconsiderate to non-smokers. A lot of bars are switching to "non-smoking" so perhaps I'll start going more frequently. I hate walking out of a bar and smelling like an ashtray or feeling like I'm covered in tobacco and nicotine.

Apologies to any smokers on the forum, but it's a habit of yours I'm not interested in participating in.

I suppose I could still go to bars, light up a cig (though illegal) and wait for someone to poke their finger at me. That would be entertaining.

Sad to say this, but I feel that there is never transparency in government, no matter how large or how small. I have to wonder, though, why we expected honest and transparency--or a new way of doing things--when we voted a man so entrenched in Chicago politics into office. We got what we should have expected--why are we surprised?

 

I don't know why Americans voted him into office. I think those who voted for him may have been temporarily delusional. But, I'm not surprised that the populace is finally waking up after having experienced three long years of Obamunism.

In case anyone missed it, Eric Holder confessed he had lied when he claimed, under oath, he had only known about Fast & Furious for "a couple of weeks". As it turns out, he had known about for several months. How much press did this revelation garner? Hmmm. Transparency from this administration? Never.
