    Food for thought.. 2 parents per generation, 3 generations per century, lets see to get back to 1800, i have

    2x2x2x2x2x2x2 = 128 grandparents.
    (1960,1930,1900,1870,1840,1810,1780)

    give or take each comes with oh say 3 siblings that would average about to hmm (alot) of relatives.. so chances are we were more than represented.

    The math gets really awful about 1500, which nets you about 64K grandparents.. at that point in time I'm thinking i'm related to all of you ten times over :)

    Cousins in Bodo, Norway (brrrrrrrrr) and a few others in Darmstadt, Germany. I was very fortunate to be able to visit both sets in 1986 and 1987.

    Mostly Germany (where I am), Netherlands and France. Not terribly exciting, huh? ;)
