My grandson just asked me why we didn't have a Hardees up here in Alaska. I said the same reason why you don't have a Carl's Jr. down there in Virgina. It's free enterprise. They can open up a shop where ever they want to. Hmmm.... maybe that's next on Obama's plan.

That's odd, because there are Hardee's around here, but you have to go down south to get to the Carl's jr.

Nearest Hardees around here is in Omaha. I love going there for the mushroom and swiss burgers. Hardees is the only place that does em right.

Your just prejudiced. Apparently you haven't had a Black Angus Six Dollar Burger before.

We used to have Hardee's in AZ. About 25 or so years ago they changed them all over to Carl Jr.

I remember being ticked that they went to Carls Jr, because Hardee's sponsored Cale Yarborough's racecar. :)

yeah, but that one was fugly! lol!

tiny bit of useless info: My family and I are in Days of Thunder. We are up in the stands during the "Phoenix" race.

We were up there for the real race, and they broke out all these showcars and did some filming for the movie. Pretty cool stuff. :)

I just said to my dad last week that I wished we still had a Hardee's.. there was one and they re - did main street awhile back so it was gonna be tore up and closed for a stretch for quite awhile and they closed up because of it, never to return..

There is one 15 miles north I'll drive to sometimes if I'm craving a ham and cheese..

My favorite sandwich from Hardee's was the Frisco burger. We don't have a Hardee's any more either.

my mother worked at one for a while when we lived in Florida. It was a nice part time job that she had while I was in kindergarten/first grade there.

I remember having a crush on one of her co-workers, and we got a cat that someone tried to dispose of in the used grease barrel out back, lol.

Yeah, that's my ole lady's favorite one too.

My ideal Hardees meal is a mushroom and swiss, curly fries and a chocolate shake.

They have them all over up in Iowa. When I was up in Okoboji a few weeks ago, swung into Estherville to pick up my cousin to go fishing, that was the first place we stopped before heading out to Swan lake. Ordered 2 of em. I hadn't had a mushroom and swiss from Hardees in over a year... It was just like heaven!!! Damn I wish the one in Columbus never closed down.

I like the cinnamon and raisin rise and shine biscuits too... yum!!

We don't have Carl Jr's in ND, but we do have Hardee's.

I like their roast beef sandwiches.

We have one, that I know of, around here. I've never seen so many fat fukkers waddle into an establishment since they opened a country buffet at the casino.

Remember back in the day when Hardees would take an actual piece of dog sh*t, fry it up, make a sandwich out of it and actually expect you to eat it without vomiting?

Nowadays they got them some tasty burgers.
