You're wrong, sir. If you state that you are a Republican or Democrat, you are aligning yourself with their views. The way a person talks defines something about them. You seem to have a preoccupation with latin, and keep writing latin stuff ad infinitum. :D By the way, who was I citing? Noah Webster! Are you saying he was wrong? I'm shocked and horrified!
But I love you anyway:  :D

Those are logical fallacies, by the book. You asked, I answered. I assumed you wanted an answer, anyway.

So let me ask you this:

By your reasoning, since prisoners often find religion during their sentence, does that mean that christians are felons or does it mean that some people who prescribe to christianity have also had run ins with the law?

That is not my reasoning, sir. :headbang: How am I going to get this through to you. When you align yourself with a particular belief, such as
Christianity, that doesn't mean you are a Christian, even if you say you are. Nobody can know if you really are, but they can get a good clue by your actions. "You'll know them by their fruit". Now, I'm guessing you don't know who said that.

    Good question, and very fair!

Now let me ask you one.

Why can't they make the whole plane out of the same substance that the little indestructible black box is?

Well, if you want to make wrong guesses, that's your business.

But you are generalizing. A person who is a republican is not defined by their 'republicanness'. They hold political points of view which are, currently, demonstrated and agreed with by the republican party. You can say 'I am a republican, and I worked my way through college...blah blah' - fine. It does not mean that 'a republican is a person who worked their way through college'. It means you are more than a republican, or a party affiliation. I'm sure plenty of folks are republican and didn't work their way through college - I think the republican president probably didn't for that matter... so does that mean that the republican president is not republican, because he didn't work his way through college? or does working one's way through college have absolutely nothing to do with being a republican?
