What do Gibbon, Greene, Hobbes, Hume, Locke, Machiavelli, Marx, Mill,
Rabelais, Sartre, Swift and Voltaire have in common?

They're all very good writers and thinkers at least in some works, and
they're all prohibited by the Catholic Church:

(Along with Francis Bacon, Galileo, Copernicus and both Darwins, of course.)

    Damn. Indeed.

Of course. Oh, how could I not? I would be remiss in my duties if I
did not extend my love to all of you, especially during these times of
    tribulation and strife.

Yes, despite your odd, indented posting style, I still love you, whoever
    you are.
