So, a debate between a seasoned former prosecutor and a radio show host. Hum? I wonder if she'll leave him crying in a corner? I made pizza for this debate.
I think I’ll either fall asleep or switch to a movie halfway into the debate. Here’s my argument predictions Pence will attack heavily on the criticisms of Harris and her former career as a controversial prosecutor, will also attack maybe attack her hypocrisy regarding her attacks on Biden during the primaries, calling Biden an old racist white guy and now being on the ticket. Harris probably can’t attack Pence personally, maybe hit on his religion and the possibility of religious influences of Pence in the Trump administration but Kamala will most likely attack Trump more and Pence will have to do what he can to defend POTUS.
While more civil, this isn't a ton better so far. In contrast to his presidential counterpart, it can't be denied that Pence is a seasoned politician and can hold his own in this setting. That being said, I've heard misleading statements out of both sides, but far more out of Pence. Edge goes to Harris for now.
I'd also add, I expect this to bump the polls in Trump's direction. Pence being competent on stage will probably pull some Republicans back from the edge.
