Would that be the Nazi Public Radio you are referring to? NPR is just a shouting board for the losers who go around protesting and destroying the morale of our troops. They shouldn't be over there but it ain't their fault, so leave 'em alone. mutters, "Idiot".

What the heck are you talking about? We are not reliant on Iraq and they are not reliant on us. If you are referring to oil, the war shows that we do not rely on them. If they offend us, we bomb them, take over the country, and now we own the oil. Sounds good to me.

Wow! You guys really have some opinions! ;)

All I will say is this...

I think that the world will be a better place without Saddam running Iraq. I think that Iraq's people will be much better off when everything is said and done. Everyone will have more freedom and women will actually be people. I know, I know...you see lots of Iraq's people on TV saying that they were better off before. Let me tell you why...Because they don't know anything different. That will change over time.

Now, I don't like all of the reasons given by the Bush Administration for going into Iraq, WMD and all of that BS. I wish everyone would just be straight up with people. Something on the order of, "Hey, we think that Iraq is a terrorist hotbed. Saddam is an awful dictator and needs to be removed. And, oh yeah, we need to protect the world's oil interests." No matter what I think about all that, at least we're all being up front.

Oh, I also hate that civilians are being killed. I have no idea how many that is, but any of them is more than enough. That does not mean that I don't support our troops or anything like that. Why would anybody be in favor of innocent people dying? For most of them, it wasn't their choice to live in Iraq.

Craig it is that sort of thinking that has manufactured these terrorists. Guys like you and Bush have just made us a huge poop sandwich and we all are going to have to take a bite.

We don't need oil from there........now I'm all for Bush but here is something that has lots of truth....

We have oil here in the good ol USA but all of the dip sticks are in DC and in many of our capitols.....

AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE PRESIDENT THERE---

Also the US doesn't owe Iraq anything....Iraq owes us if anything....
I wrote an article about the War but I don't think I better post it...

At last, we are finally getting down to the bottom of all this killing and carnage, being blamed on those poor Arabs. Why haven't you been billed for the distruction you caused in the 9/11 attack. I know all this is true because Danr said so. Craig, you should be ashamed of yourself. Causing all these problems.

Somehow I feel you had something to do with the storms that his the gulf coast, but can't figure it out. Guess we must wait for Danr to tell us how you did it.

    Shame, shame on you Craig!

Old Dan I think the Iraqis are Persian not Arabic. BTW do you know the president of India, if so you are one up on Bush. This entire acton was based on this sort of ignorance.

Did you learn this in college? Or at a leftist sit in. Oh that is the same thing today.

This statement also backs alot of points that OldDan had made in another thread. Sad thing is misinformed people, I am being gentle, also vote.

Andy I think that the Cultural Litercy thing was a right wing movement that never caught on. As for the reference to the president of India, you may remember that Bush was left speechless when a reporter asked him "who is the president of India?". Even you must admit that it is scary in the extreme to be led to war by a guy with that level of ignorance.

oh please.....I bet 99% of school kids in the US can't name 10 US Presidents and you are mad at Bush because he didn't know the name of the President of India at any given time----I don't care who is the President of India...I'm not over there...let them take care of their President and let us take care of ours...

Talk about people putting their foot in their mouths....Former President Bill kept his mouth open just in case he wanted to say something....

Danr, look at your "Iraqs are persians" statement it really is no different from your other statements in that it is, well...never mind.

The leader of the free world does not know who the leader of the worlds largest democracy is, and that is a so what? India is central to most of what is going on in all international affairs. I am not that worried about the kids not knowing who the president of of India or Pakistan is (THESE KIDS ARE NOT THE STARTING WARS). I think that it is resonible that we know more than the basics about the countries we attack. BTW I would bet $5 that Clinton could name pretty much all the worlds leaders (Clinton is a genius).

Danr, where did you get your education from and how can you state your statements when you think that the people of Iraq are Persians.

By the way, the press never showed such disrespect by asking a president or any presidential candidate in the past high school type questions like "Who is the leader or such and such"

No leader of the free world should lower him or herself to an idiot question like that.

I hope that you do not vote. Thomas Jefferson stated something along the lines of "that for a democracy to survive the citizens have to be educated".
I think you may need to brush up on whats going on and what has happened in your life time before you can make a sound choice on who or what you vote on , never mind any history B.D.(Before Danr).

Andy the majority of Iraqis are of the Islamic group called Shi'a which are identified with the Iranian (Persian) Islamics. The differences between Sunni and Shi'a are minor to us but in their minds it is a big deal. The Shi'a are a small group compared to the Sunni (nonPersian) Muslims.
BTW it sounds like you want a king not a president. Because I believe in Democracy I hope you do vote.
