Did you see the CRAP USA Today ran???

The May 23rd, 2007 headline of "American Muslims reject extremes" is a bunch of pig's crap...but what do you expect when it was written by a guy named Haya El Nasser??

If you read deep into these bogus headlines, you will see that 26% of American Muslims aged 18 to 29 feel that suicide bombings are justified. If you put numbers behind this 26%, that is approximately 117,000 people HERE in this country that find suicide bombing acceptable!

If that is not alarming, I do not know what is! How about the 7% of American Muslims who find al-Qaeda favorable? Again, I must note...this is not a survey of muslims in countries like Iran or Pakistan, these are American Muslim animals right here in this country! That's not delusional. These are in fact disturbing findings!

I could not imagine what the fall out would have been if we surveyed German Americans back during World War II and reported one in four Germans felt extermination of the Jews was acceptable. Or...if one in four Christians today felt bombing of abortion clinics were justified.

Do you really believe their front page headlines would have stated something like, "American Christians reject extremes"?

One problem with ethanol..there is ethanol in all the gas now...I didnt ride my motorcycle for a few months because of the weather. Go to start it up and its running real rough. Come to find out that the ethanol in the fuel turns to something else when it sits for awhile and it messed up both of the carbs in my motorcycle...now I had no idea...but it seems, if I am going to sit my bike up for more than a month, I have to buy some kind of additive or spend hundreds of dollars to have my carbs reconditioned...It would have been nice to know it does this..I see the little sign at the pump that says the gas has ethanol in it, just didnt research what it will do to a carb :(

If you ask me, and you didnt, but I will say it anyway...I think the best bet is hydrogen fuel cells. I know right now it is VERY expensive but if the oil companies get behind the research and develop ways to make it less expensive...we could all run our cars on water and we wouldnt have to worry about corn and all the other stuff...I think ethanol is just a stop gap to a water fueled car...even if it remains more expensive than other options...just think how much you save in the long run in fuel bills...

But there is good news...American Muslims are not as "bad" as those muslm animals in countries like England, France, Germany and Spain.

13% of All American Muslims (all ages) believe suicide bombings are justified.

24% of All English Muslims (all ages) believe suicide bombings are justified.

35% of All French Muslims (all ages) believe suicide bombings are justified.

13% of All German Muslims (all ages) believe suicide bombings are justified.

25% of All Spainish Muslims (all ages) believe suicide bombings are justified.

I guess the closer you get to Mecca, the more whacked these "true" muslims get...

Oh, that's right...they are just "misguided" and "misinterpretating" the koran right?

De Orc is right. Screw Castro. Brazil, Colomiba, and I think, Peru are the biggest producers of sugar cane.
Drusus, your right about the hydrogen, but right now its not very realistic. Sorry the ethanol screwed up your bike. That sucks. But I'm guessing the additive to make it work right isn't all that expensive.

Its not that expensive...way less expensive than to recondition 2 carbs :) I DO think that hydrogen fuel cells arent realistic right now...but if industry gets behind it, it can be I think. I remember when DVD player were not realistic in price for mass use, hell, I remember when only a small amount of people had, could afford or could use a computer. Thing is, do we spend the time and energy on alternatives until then? or do we decide as a nation to make a push to what, IMO, is the best alternative, that being running our vehicles on water.

even with hydrogen fuel cells as an alternative, there still remains one big hurdle...air travel. There is, as yet, no reliable alternative that will power a passenger jet over the ocean at such speeds with such power. To get from america to europe is roughly 8-9 hours...but if planes were all we needed petrol for, that would be a huge improvement.

Political Correctness: The Incubator of "True" Islam

Proof is in how USA Today reported that 26% of all AMERICAN muslim men, aged 18-29 believe suicide bombing is justified. So how did USA Today report it? "American Muslims reject extremes" Of course, this article was written by Haya El Nasser who tried to "sugarcoat" and PC this article while ignoring the animals that live within our borders.

Time and again we are told by the politically correct and islamic appeasing people like Drusus and Meon not to worry about islam posing a threat to our way of life. We are repeatedly lectured that only a very small minority of muslims are troublemakers who are giving the peaceful masses of muslims a bad name. We are also informed that the terrorists, who just happened to be muslims, are the disaffected and the young. And not to worry, since as the fire of youth turns to ashes of old age the rebellious will mellow, as they always have.

Well...With heavy assurances like this, coming from so many know-it-all authoritative figures, we can sleep soundly without the aid of sleeping pills. After all, most uninformed infidels reason that these pundits are “experts” whose job is to know and tell it like it is.

Those who voice contrary views must be a bunch of racist, alarmist hate mongers. Who is right?

Wouldn’t be more prudent to let the facts settle the matter? Wouldn't be better to let history speak for itself...the koran for itself...the actions of muhammad for itself?

Of course it would, except for one huge problem. In the face of threats, people tend to go to the mind’s medicine cabinet and take a few denial and rationalization pills, in the same way that it is the aspirin bottle they turn to when a headache strikes.

Why not? Most infidels are the "Easy Species". We love effortless, quick and simple solutions. And that’s not invariably bad. It has given us all kinds of labor and time saving devices.

Yet, the Islam problem is very real and deadly. Neither the pronouncements of the experts, nor the tranquilizing pills of the mind can make it go away.

Islam is here and it shows every sign of imposing and forcing their hate
and their 7th century culture on us.

There are a couple of problems with hydrogen. First of all, it isn't an energy source, it is an energy carrier. Currently, the only way to make it on a large scale is to extract the hydrogen from natural gas, so it really doesn't replace the use of fossil fuels -- it is one -- indirectly. The other problem is that if you attempt to extract the hydrogen from something like water, the chemical reaction uses more energy than it produces, so there is a net loss of energy in using hydrogen as a fuel. But it sounds good in theory.

Eventually, everyone will probably just have to drive a lot less whether they like it or not, or plan to devote a very significant percentage of their income to personal transportation. Getting rid of SUVs would be a good start.

Well, hydrogen is more expensive to produce but it can be produced from a large number of resources that america produces in abundance including natural gas, coal and even garbage, and water...so if the process is made more efficient and cheap, then it would certainly be a better source. This is not unthinkable that with real research and attention that such an advance, ent can be made. It certainly has the highest energy potential of any alternative and with water as the emmission, it certainly is worth pursuing. I think it the way to go...there is no better alternative...it is the best possible road to go down as I think, in the end, it is what we are trying to achieve...high power output with little to no emmisions.

Of course it would help matters if the public transport system was improved, over here we are seeing the re introduction of trams in a number of our cities cutting back both on use of fuel & pollution. Would it be possible to run a power station on Hydrogen??

    :D

Yes, there is something they are developing called the Solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) These fuel cells are best suited for large-scale stationary power generators that could provide electricity for factories or towns. Very stabile in long term operations.

The polymer exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) is one of the most promising fuel cell technologies. This type of fuel cell will probably end up powering cars, buses and maybe even your house. The PEMFC uses one of the simplest reactions of any fuel cell.

But the end result would be to find a way to use water, split the molecule down a plate, one side hydrogen, one side oxygen...as it goes down the plate one molecule at a time...it produces energy and is reformed at the end as water...the problem is finding a way to do this with less battery power and cheaper materials...

IMO we need to concentrate on switching our power infrastructure over to hydrogen...

It takes just as much energy to split the water molecule as will be produced. Laws of physics and all that science stuff get in the way of the hoped-for miracle. Energy can't be created, just changed from one form to another. Hopefully, not a lot of money will be wasted on the hydrogen dead-end, but it probably depends on how powerful the lobbyists are, not how sound the physics are.
