Kimmel and the rest of the progressive elitists have got it wrong and won't admit it. Claiming Trump is a tyrant, rather than recognizing their failure to force-feed the majority their radical agenda is the ultimate in hypocrisy. They'll never look inward. Why? Because they don't want to recognize they are who they pretend Trump is.
Exactly. These leftist loons are still stuck in their 2016 "resist" and "not my president" mode. It got old very quickly and at this point, it's beyond tolerable. They started their worthless "no kings" crap and revealed that they have nothing of substance to offer than "Orange man bad" which, of course, is even less than nothing.
I agree, but Trump sometimes does not help the situation. Here are examples.... To take over Greenland (Denmark) NATO member, on the good team! Antagonize his best neighbour (Canada) Fellow NATO member, and dumbass Trudeau is gone! Did not finish job in Iran, why not take out Supreme Leader, force Regime change? These wackos are not stopping with acquiring nukes, Putin will help them or has already. Talk and no action, should have sent in a kill team to get Maduro, and have democratically elected Lady installed. Credit where its due, good job on killing ISIS/ BOKO HARAM in Nigeria and Syria. Now with Russian on the ropes, FINALLY man, get tough with Kremlin, send UKraine Tomahawks, blockade & confiscate all Shadow Fleet tankers & cargo. Remember Putin Regime fly Commie banners all over Russia. Putin is far left of Bernie Sanders. Stop opening relations with thug Lukashenko, got to get tough with these people. Stop with blaming EU/ UK for censorship, look at Mother Russia, Putin has censored everything. Stop praising wannabe Dictators like Orban and Fico, they re scumbags. Lastly, for German AFU party, why do you dumkopfs support Kremlin? When you are proud of German wehrmacht in WW2, remember their greatest victories were against Russia. Russia has never been Germanys friend, as far back as Novogorod vs Teutonic Knights at Lake Pepius, remember WWI Tannenberg 1914? Kiev 1942? Kharkov 1943? Learn your history.
The biggest mistake Trump made was inviting a "wanted" War criminal to Anchorage. What was He thinking? When polls tell you 82% of Americans do not trust the Kremlin regime, yet you give this thug a full red carpet welcome, that goes against moral judgement and hurts politically. There is still a chance, when you meet Zelenskyy on the 29th. Treat Him like a statesman, a hero who is fighting vs tyranny. Then, give Him full support and crank up the heat on Russia.
Some people will not come to the negotiating table unless and until you make them feel like they'll come out ahead in the meeting . . .
Yes, but how can one deal with a "tyrant" and its not just Him, the Regime, the Russian people, their Church Head. They all are guilty of genocide. Remember their crimes in Georgia 2004. Trump is dealing with a foe, that their propagandist today stated, we really would love to nuke every European capital, their religious Head preached total extermination of Ukrainians who oppose Russia. These birds are far worse then ISIS. Their version of logic is that, Russians are the, "Supreme race and God will help them purify the subhumans....us" Just watch thugs like Lavrov, Kirill, Medevev, Rybkov.....they do not hid it. Really, though, think of it, they should not be at the table, Ukraine was invaded by a sneak attack like USA in 1941. Did Truman beg Japanese Emperor to come to Washington for red carpet talks? Like Professor Gerdes a Republican says, "Trump must pressure Putin" to end agression. That is exactly what Reagan would have done. Only way to stop a bully, you fight back, smash his face in.
I think you misread the situation at least a little bit. First, Russia’s attack on Ukraine was hardly a sneak attack. Unlike Japanese pilots attacking Pearl Harbor without any notice whatsoever, over 100,000 Russian troops amassed on the Ukraine border over a number of months before that invasion. Second, the US is trying to peaceably break Putin’s back with economic sanctions, and it is working, although slower than we all would like. If Xi didn’t care about serving the US up with a major distraction, he wouldn’t be helping Putin weather the storm. Putin is a mere pawn at this point. He must recognize his usefulness is waning. Xi has not moved on Taiwan, likely because Trump has refrained from embroiling us directly in the Ukrainian conflict . . . An involvement Xi surely counted on. Trump stepping back just enough to keep American powder dry, and prodding Europe to shoulder the Ukrainian burden meets two needs . . . Getting Europe to stand up for itself, and maximizing our ability to defend Taiwan if it becomes necessary. We need to let Europe and Ukraine fight that war, if for no other reason than for Xi to view detente between the US and China more palatable than a full-scale pacific conflict over Taiwan.
Your commentary makes sense, but why be nice to this creep. I think Ukraine is on a path to victory. It would take the inept Russian military more years to complete, then the time their economy fails, and chaos ensues. That fortress belt that Putin wants Ukraine to hand over, would be a lost cause, with drones the attacker has 12-1 losses in men and materiel. Russia cannot sustain that. Putin is in a no win, he cannot stop the War, or afford to loose it. Both scenarios he dies. To your point, its great that Europe/ Germany are rearming and supporting Ukraine. Same for Pacific theatre, Japan is rearming to counter Chinese imperialism. And US has to protect Korea from nutbar in N. Korea. Putin, thought he had the cards, now whole World knows Russia would even loose war vs Poland. Russia has in all its history never won a battle, unless they outnumbered enemy 4-1. Tannenberg 1914 was their greatest defeat equal too Cannae. Germans inflicted 114K KIA on invading Russian armies/ German losses 1700 That my friend is German training vs ineptness.
I think the only reason Putin presses on regarding Ukraine is to live up to a commitment made to Xi. Otherwise, it seems completely illogical for him to continue to deplete his military . . . Especially with so little to show for it.
My opinion on that is very opposite. Ever since the USSR fell apart in 1991, Putin then an unemployed KGB officer, saw that as the worst day in his life. He blamed Gorbachev for that. Somehow, someway he got up in the echelons of power, and Boris Yeltsin ( a good man) trusted Him. In the end He became President. For the next 25 years, he consolidated his grasp on power, by imprisoning/ murdering/ embezzling/ plundering the Russian economy/ populace. He wanted to' "Make Russia Great Again", and Himself Czar. Thus, his selected inner circle became filfty rich, while the population lived in Third World poverty. At first he tried to play nice with the West, then as time went on, the power went to his head, his Generals/ Oligrachs/ Kremlin politicians only told Him what he wanted to hear, everything was roses. By 2014, after his "puppet" in Ukraine was ousted, He annexed Crimea, the POTUS (Obama) did nothing, then He escalated a revolt in Donbas, West crickets. By 2022, his Generals told Him, the SMO would last 2-3 days with defeat of Ukrainians, matter of fact they told Him, 80% of Ukrainians loved the Russians, and would welcome invaders with hugs & kisses. 1400+ days later, 1.2M casaulties, trillions in materiel losses, his Generals still give Him bogus war reports, Kupiansk had been taken a month ago.....I would bet, He does not even know the grim realities of the Russian economy. His allies, Iran, Venezeula/ Cuba/ N. Korea are more liabilities then assets. China is the key to the puzzle, Xi is really a bad friend, He takes advantage of Putin's dilemna by buying up cheap Russian oil/ gas at a 50% discount, metals like gold, to keep the Russian economy solvent. Its in Xi's interest to keep the war going, so that Russia becomes weaker and weaker, so that He can make it a Chinese vassal state or my feeling, annex Asiatic Russia into Greater China. China could do this in 72 hrs. Of course now to yesterdays fiasco. Trump calls Putin, the latter gives Trump the Kremlin BS, Trump repeats it in meeting with Zelenskyy. At that press debacle, Trump stated Russia would take rest of Donets anyway in next 3 months. hmm....not exactly true, pure Putin fantasy. The ISW stated at the present rate that Russians are going, it would take 5+years and 2M+ casaulties, and the economy, willing conscripts would run out long before that objective was accomplished. This Fortress Belt is a perfect killing ground, with the overhead drone swarms, the defenders will take 25-1 KIA vs Russians. Also, Ukraine now are mass producing 3000km missiles, EU has donated 90B euros to sustain that. Worst part of press conference, one asked Him about 100+ brave Americans that were KIA vs Russians. Trump said it was a shame, wrong answer, He should have said they were true American heros. Also He said we (USA) have oceans between us and Russia. Yes, but as Sarah Palin said, "I can see Russia from my house" Man I love that women, at least she is out there with her Weatherby .340 Magnum hunting Elk, if she were President.......another Reagan.
