    Here's another MSM representation....

Trump-aligned 'America First' holdouts don't follow GOP in backing Ukraine
The far-right wing of the Republican Party is battling the more traditional majority over U.S. interests as Russia continues to bombard Ukraine.

Attendees hold up signs at a rally for former President Donald Trump at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Conroe, Texas, on Jan. 29. March 20, 2022, 8:52 AM EDT

They are a distinct minority in their own party and, for that matter, their country: Republican holdouts amid an ever-widening consensus that Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine* poses a mortal threat to American interests.

*Yakpoo comment: What about Russia's claim that NATO expansion is an existential threat to Russia? Finland is neutral and Russia isn't invading Finland.

A far right wing of the Republican Party tightly bound to former President Donald Trump is fighting to push the GOP toward the “America First” isolationism that underpinned his 2016 presidential bid.

For the first time since Trump’s rise, his party is pushing back.

That much was clear from the House vote Thursday on a bill ending normal trade relations with Russia as punishment for attacking Ukraine. A total of 202 Republicans joined with 222 Democrats in voting to allow the Biden administration to raise tariffs on Russia, a rare bipartisan consensus in an era of fierce polarization.

Eight Republicans voted against the measure, including Trump loyalists like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia. In a speech on the House floor Thursday, Greene gave a succinct summary of an America First argument that has been getting little traction in the face of deepening sympathy for the Ukrainians’ suffering. After objecting to the abundant attention the war is getting, she said that what “real Americans care about are gas prices that they can’t afford,” inflation and security along the southern border.

Biden accuses Putin of war crimes as more aid heads to Ukraine
    MARCH 17, 202202:22
Echoing that sentiment, Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, whom Trump has endorsed for re-election, explained her vote: “Congress keeps focusing on distractions abroad and not our own challenges brought on by Joe Biden at home.”

Both Greene and Boebert are part of a loose band of conservative lawmakers, pundits and foreign policy thinkers who, under the banner “America First,” see the war as peripheral to so-called pocketbook concerns important to families. What’s more, some of them argue that GOP leaders are reverting to Bush-era neoconservative positions that enmeshed the U.S. in "unwinnable wars."

“We have so many problems in this country that are a bigger concern to our citizens and should be a bigger concern to our leaders than what’s happening in Russia and Ukraine,” J.D. Vance, a Republican Senate candidate in Ohio, told NBC News.

“Our voters do not want us to sacrifice American blood and treasure in Ukraine,” he added. “They want us to look after our own people first.”

Polling suggests otherwise. Surveys show that majorities of Americans are prepared to accept financial sacrifices if it means helping Ukraine defend its sovereignty. And polls suggest that Americans are absorbed in coverage of the war and inspired by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s resistance to the Russian siege.

Here's an article from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) perspective...

AFPAC III: The Groyper Army Seeks to Normalize White Nationalism
    • February 25, 2022
    [IMG]
Nicholas Fuentes, a well-known white supremacist pundit and organizer, will host his third annual America First Political Action Conference (AFPAC III) in Orlando, Florida on February 25, 2022. Fuentes founded AFPAC in 2020 to serve as a counterweight to the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) event being held at the same time, also in Orlando.

Fuentes’ third AFPAC conference will not only bring together the Groypers, followers and supporters of Fuentes, but also many different strands of the far right, including white supremacists; anti-immigrant ideologues; media personalities and political figures, some of whom are running for office this year (see below for more information).

AFPAC demonstrates the increasing acceptance of extreme views by those who once identified with the conservative movement. This is exemplified by bringing together political figures like Steve King (a former Congressman), media personalities like Jon Miller (a Black journalist) and Patrick Howley (a writer for numerous right-wing publications), who claim to be conservatives, with individuals like Jared Taylor, Tim Gionet, aka Baked Alaska, and Vincent James, who blatantly promote white nationalism.

In the past, Michelle Malkin, a far-right pundit and anti-immigrant ideologue, and Miller were both speakers at CPAC (2019 and 2020, respectively). CPAC is sponsored each year by the right-wing American Conservative Union and draws in aspiring politicians. Figures like Malkin and Miller have been able to move between right-wing and extremist circles because there are few consequences for them politically to do so. While many of the speakers at the AFPAC conference, including King, Malkin, Florida Congressional candidate Laura Loomer and Arizona State Rep. Wendy Rogers, represent the fringe part of the conservative movement, they no longer fear being shunned by their more mainstream counterparts.

It is noteworthy that speakers at AFPAC like Malkin and Rogers don’t acknowledge that Fuentes is a white supremacist. They see him as a Christian conservative and the new face of the conservative movement. Malkin has praised Fuentes and the Groypers as “patriotic conservatives.” She also called Fuentes one of the “New Right leaders.” Rogers has repeatedly praised Fuentes on social media posts and lauded him as a champion of free speech on Gab.

Non-white right-wing figures speaking at AFPAC III, such as Jon Miller and Jesse Lee Peterson, a Black minister and radio host, also don’t seem to view Fuentes as a white supremacist. For them, the “culture war” in America, the subject of an interview Peterson did with Fuentes on his radio show in 2019, is apparently of more concern than Fuentes’ extreme views on Blacks and Jews. At last year’s CPAC conference, Miller said he chose to go to AFPAC over CPAC because he felt that Fuentes’ America First views were more akin to his own. They are following in the footsteps of Malkin, a Filipino-American, who embraced Fuentes and the Groypers early on and spoke at the two previous AFPAC conferences. She is slated to speak this year as well.

I haven't listened to this. yet...I'm trying to put together a well rounded, honest representations of the issue so we can see, with our own eyes and ears, which Truth Model is most convergent. Let's hear a debate between (someone, I'm not sure yet who the podcaster is) and Nick Fuentes about the Ukrainian invasion...

Just think that this person graduated from Boston University (what an embarrassment that must be for some alumni) with a degree in international relations and economics. She is a prime example of someone educated way beyond their intelligence.

Keep in mind that the far-left radicals will call ANYTHING or ANYONE they disagree with, even slightly, a white supremacist or a racist.

You don’t agree with AOC? You're a racist!

You agree with the Rittenhouse verdict? You're a white supremacist!

    You didn't like Obama's socialist policies? You're a racist!

You want to secure our borders? You're a white supremacist!

    See how easy it is?

I finished watching the debate. I thought they both did an excellent job presenting opposing points of view. The final half hour was somewhat repetitious on both sides. All in all...a very educational debate. I think Nick Fuentes' argument carried the day because the guy supporting the NATO side failed to explain why, in 2008, The U.S. began pushing NATO membership for Ukraine over the objections if Germany, France, Russia, and the majority of the Ukrainian People. An act that began the destabilization of the region. He also conceded the concept of "Conditional Sovereignty".

The part at the end I didn't care for is Nick Fuentes' vocal support for Russia. Regardless of which side of the debate we gravitate towards, I think we can all agree that Russia's indiscriminate targeting of civilians is hard to accept*. I think Fuentes and his group show support for Russia based solely on their belief that this whole mess was 100% avoidable and a failure of the U.S. foreign policy. Russian praise and support is just a metaphor for how screwed up our "Celebrity" State Department has become.

*Russia's response is that Zelenskyy is arming and training civilians for combat...making them legitimate combatant targets*. I hate to admit it, but it sounds like Zelenskyy made his entire civilian population legitimate targets (under the Geneva Conventions) when he decided to arm civilians, organize them into combatant units, and authorizing to use deadly force.

All in all...the jury is still out on Fuentes. I need to learn more about him and dissect his views. His argument about Ukraine is definitely a valid one (imo) and needs to be considered...not dismissed as "racist".

Fuentes might be a racist. Each person who listens to him can decide. One thing is for certain, however. Ilhan Omar is an anti-Semite racist; there's simply no question about it. But, the Left loves her. Why does the Left love this racist so much?

And, of course, Biden is a racist. And a White Supremacist, too. Also, why is he going so easy on Communist/Socialist Putin? Did Biden collude with Russia to steal the 2020 election?

Because she'll draw the black vote? Personally, I don't think the Democrats should feel so sure about that. Right about now, I think a lot of black people are feeling pretty darned used . . .

Nobody knows what the word "Racism" means, anymore. Racism is an "ism"...like communism, capitalism, Catholicism, etc...it's a "belief". It's the belief that "one Race is genetically superior to another". What we're arguing over isn't "Racism"; it's our societal "Standards" Standards that allow people to interact and prosper...peacefully and efficiently.

I do a lotta work with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). NIST sets standards across numerous technologies. Cyber Security would be impossible without NIST IT design standards. We follow all sorts of standards...what side of the road we drive or how we park our cars at the Costco. Society would be a mess without standards.

Our country (right or wrong) evolved from European standards. America is a "melting pot" of nationalities, cultures, and races...each bring their own culture and standards.
Take the Election of 1960, for instance. Kennedy was attacked for being Catholic. Why? ...because the Catholic religion has different standards than Protestant religions. We saw this play out in Northern Ireland in the '70s. This isn't anything new. People resist dominance...it's human nature. It's certainly not isolated to "race".

What we see today are anti-American Marxists using race (or anything else they can think of) to divide Americans. America only works with a free flow of ideas. Marxists stoke racial animus to suppress Freedom of Speech. Anyone with an opposing view is labelled "Racist", and cancelled. This is what gives these miscreants any power at all. They even argue that English language standards are "racist"...that's just NUTS! There's a reason "Freedom of Speech" is enshrined in our Constitution.

I don't know if Mr. Fuentes is a racist or not. I didn't hear anything in that debate that could remotely be label as "racist". His support for Russia was disturbing, but it could just be hyperbole to make a point. I'm really not sure. I need to listen some more. He certainly knows his subject matter. Regardless if I agree with them or not, they presented their positions well.

The more I listen, the more I'm coming to the opinion that our "woke celebrity" State Department is gonna start WWIII if they keep up their Passive-Aggressive approach to foreign affairs. Putin and Xi aren't fools. Although our Constitution allows the Freedoms we enjoy...that doesn't necessarily translate beyond our borders. We should hire "professional" diplomats who are aware of that.

Speaking of standards and the NIST, The Democrat Party is obviously way beyond their calibration date.

I think it's time for their Great Reset!
