It was my claim that you DID win the social lottery as well you just believe that you did it all on your own. You really have reading comprehension issues don't you. When the entire post is quoted, the context is far different than your interpretation. I've yet to see you show any empathy for anyone but I have seen plenty of ridicule and condemnation out of you.

 

I am confused. Are you saying that you do not have any empathy for anyone or just that none has been created yet because you have not realized "that we won the social lottery when we were born"?

But then maybe you have empathy for me since you believe;

I do not have empathy for tom. Show me an instance when I have demonstrated a lack of empathy for someone who has not won what you call "the social lottery". After all, this is what you accused me of.

lol Yeah. Was just watching our local news last night. Locally, there's already Obama supporters (20 somethings) gathered in a 12x12 room with cell phones glued to their ears, going down phone lists. Wearing their little Obama 2012 buttons. It almost didn't seem real. The people looked like weirdos for sure. You could tell just by the way they talked that they didn't have a clue. If you wanted to have a real conversation with them about politics, they'd probably be in tears within 20 minutes and run out the door. They're all a bunch of phonies that don't have a clue, IMO. I can't believe there's anybody left that "trusts" Obama as the woman exclaimed. She obviously hasn't paid enough attention to hear all the blatant lies. Perfect example of why I keep that Jefferson quote in my sig line.

Btw Moen, referring back to page 4, go ahead and call Andrew Wilkow some day around 11 a.m. Tell him GM has paid their loans back. He'll have you for breakfast because you don't have a clue either. I like GM and own a GM vehicle. But it's a proven fact that they've paid back most of their loans with an extra loan (grant) from the government that was an escrow account set up to make payments as needed. If you borrow 20k and use half the loan to pay back 10k, you haven't paid off the loan. But that's whats happening so now people like you can make unfounded claims that seem right. Claims that are technically, true, but false.

As for taxes, we have a highly progressive tax system already. Millionaires are paying a rate that's double (or more) what middle income payers are paying. Which makes sense because the revenue the IRS does collect has to come from somewhere! Yes or no? Over 50% of earners are already paying nothing. That leaves less than 50% of the country to pay something! I know for a fact what I pay. Everybody else here knows what they pay. It may seem like quite a bit but it's nothing compared to what they do actually bring in. Do you contend that all the revenue they receive is all from middle income earners?? Get real!! There's no way.

So you want more? Well, if they confiscated 100% of the income of all the people making over a million in this country (which big picture, is relatively few), it would cover an Obama deficit for 1 year. One single year!. So do you really think legally, or illegally confiscating another 5, 10, 20, 30% a year from everybody will make a bit of difference? You better start considering a "plan B". You can raise taxes as high as you want. It's not going to make a dent, even if they do successfully collect it all.

I am betting that HARP got him and he has been sent to a FEMA concentration camp where they read Decision Points and In My Time to hm all day, every day..

 

He has a habit of making serious threats, so he's probably been banned. I, for one, haven't missed him one iota. Or perhaps his doctors have him on new medication. It's hard to tell about him.

 

He definitely understands the issues I have with 'big business'.
