Nonsense! Complete nonsense. He said, "I intend to close Guantanamo" PERIOD!!! He didn't specifically say when he intended to do so. When your daddy was teaching you your lessons, was lying one of them? Maybe daddy should have covered hypocrisy while he was instilling the fear of God into you. You probably wouldn't reek of it so much right now if he had.

 

From MSNBC (11/18/2010): Obama has already failed to meet an election campaign pledge [emphasis mine] to shut it down in the first year of his presidency and transfer its inmates to prisons in the United States.

Now, if you look up the word "pledge" in the dictionary, you'll find that it means "to make a solemn promise (to do something)".

So, yeah, Obama did PROMISE to close Guantanamo, but broke that promise. Oh, well.. I don't expect much more from him. But, ideologues such as yourself are completely blinded by the truth. Hypocrisy is a term you'd best get used to; you're drowning in it in right now. I hope your daddy taught you how to swim.
