The Proverbial Loss of Freedoms

This would be fine if I was a new hire seeking employment. But I've been with the company 20 years. This was described to me as a "new" requirement to revalidate my citizenship status under orders from the US government. Since my company is pretty cheap and doesn't spend money to do these things voluntarily or just for the fun of it, it's obviously a Bush administration directive.

 

IF what you say is true and you really believe it it, then you will have to admit that I have a freedom to 'not listen to your ravings and wild accusations'. This being true, are you going to now force me to see any more of your posts and deny me my freedom? There is also CoinDude to consider with your removal of his freedoms. But you are the cause of these freedoms being lost, not the current administration. See the difference now dummy?

Well, I guess the if you feel that you lost freedoms because being monitored on anything you do, and needing someones permission to do any of these things you want to do, meets the definition of freedom lost, then I guess you have a point. The problem is, I've always had the obligation to gain permission for most things that I have been involved in during my life time, and being supervised or monitored never seemed like anything unusual in my profession. With what I have accomplished in my life time under these "brutal" conditions makes me more than proud of my accomplishments. I'm sorry you feel the way you do about life here in the good old U.S.A. It must be a bummer!
