Indeed. In the latest New York Times/CBS Poll, Romney is leading over Obama. Fifty-four percent of voters said the economy and jobs are the important issues in this election, things Obama has miserably failed to strengthen. His approval rating on the economy is only 39 percent (a five-point drop since April)!
