Well Moen, I have slammed Bush more then I have praised him but perhaps you missed those posts. But I am a centrist who is leaning to the right in terms of national security only because the times dictate that it is needed. I feel every American who likes to have his or her own views should be worried about all of the middle east oil money and what it is buying and what it is capable of buying if they like to keep their independent views and that is regardless of party. Danh, I keep on trying to tell you guys that my views are not from a scripted party platform but vary depending upon the issue.
Yes many naxis were gay, especially those who had leadership roles in the SA. Um. You mention that Rev. Paisly is well known for his hatred of homosexuals. I am not going to go into Paisly but I never considered a religious leader a leader if they were filled with hate. Now I am not happy with the gay lifestyle being flaunted and I am against gay marriage for it will lead to gay adoptions and I see to much potential for future abuse by a few on many kids. But hate for a person just because they are gay is beyond me. People are people first and should be judged as so.
And I, you... I am aware of that fact (but, the rumor about Hitler is simply that: rumor). Nothing has ever been proven). Nevertheless, the Nazis killed homosexuals with utter, inexcusable brutality. Thank our American Founding Fathers that they included the "right to life" in our constitution. What you would like to do to homosexuals, Aidan, is unconstitutional. I've never wanted to kill another human being for any reason, much less because of his or her sexual orientation. If one human being loves another human being of the same sex, who cares? After all, LOVE IS NOT A SIN. I think all of you who are so vocal against homosexuals doth protest too much.
I have 1 gay uncle, 2 gay cousins and my only son WAS gay until he met his wife who turned him around and now are expecting their 1st child. So Mr. Moen I think I have a little more experience and understanding in this matter than you and posting is my choice. But of course, as usual, you are an expert on everything!!
I simply posed the question, but of course you attacked me for even asking. Obviously saying that I'd love my kids in any case didn't fit into your poisonous opinion of me so you ignored it. Sorry to disappoint.
These sure don't look like simply posted questions to me! Usually someone doesn't lead into a question with an insult. Just more of your constant unprovoked name-calling and labeling jabs. Read the bold lettering of you own posts! I never mentioned any references to your family. I never ignored your family remarks. You asked a question that related to my family and I answered that question. If you don't like receiving harsh replies then maybe you should tone down your "SIMPLE" sarcastic remarks and questions a little! I didn't realize you were asking for my opinion of you. I must have missed that question. In your own words.
To begin with, you hadn't even posted at the point I made the first comment so it couldn't have been referring to you unless you ARE indeed one of Andy's rightwing buddies in which case it wasn't so much name calling as correct identification with a touch of clairvoyance. And secondly, I was talking to Andy, not YOU! I asked a question that related directly to the topic of the original post. It had nothing to do with either you or your family. I think that you just seized the opportunity to attack me because you have some need to be right or aggressive or whatever. I personally find that many of your remarks, especially where I am concerned, take such extreme right turns, that I often get whiplash trying to figure out where the heck you are going with them. I know that I have different views that you do. I'm O.K. with that. Maybe you should just PM me when you can't figure out an opening into a new thread all by yourself. I'll give you a few pointers. Oh, there I go being all superior again. Bad, Bad, Bad! Moen.
Ok Sir Moen, I apologize. Maybe the first paragraph does appear directed at Andy and others. The second paragraph and question appeared as a general question to the members and apparently I mis-took it as that. I am sorry if I intruded on your public/private message to Andy. A pointer....Maybe you should have been the one to PM Andy since your reply and question was private and directed to him only.
Fair enough...Only part of the post was for Andy and that may have been confusing. I can see how it might be.
Cheeeezzze - Some of you folks can't even talk about Gays without getting your panties in a bunch. Do you tell your kids that if they get out of bed at night -"FAGMAN will come out of the closet and grab them"? Hey, that was a good one - I'll have to try it on the grand kids. Relax people I'm just kidding.
For those of you who quote Bible passages referring to homosexuality, when it comes down to it I think that God has better things to do than worry about people of the same sex expressing their love for each other. There are a lot of passages in the Bible that refer to sin that each one of us (OldDan and Aidan, you're included in this) commit every day. I was always taught that all sin is equal in God's eyes. So, if you're one of those who thinks that homosexualy is a sin, well, what's that old saying about throwing stones if you live in a glass house? So, judge not lest thee be judged. Personally, I think the world would be a lot better off if people could fill their hearts with love instead of bitter, putrid hate.
I heard that Fagman is a registered Democrat and a lawyer for the ACLU as well as a boggieman of the dark. Is his sister that teacher(another leftist democrat at work) that ask the boys for their toys at show and tell. You know that one, um theres so many now.
Well, don't forget that the Roman Catholic 'Church' is full of gays.I wouldn't be too surprised if it turned out that Cardinal Law,who was forced to resign from his seat in Boston & is now living in Rome,is a faggot. If that is definitely the case, then the 'Church' of Rome has disgraced itself in the eyes of a lot of people.Personally, I wouldn't give the 'Church' of Rome the time of day, because they are so bigoted & extremely hypocritical. The sex scandals in Ireland,America,Australia & New Zealand are being blown open. Aidan.
When you tell a man or a woman they CAN NOT do something that is absolutely natural and EXPECTED what do you figure will happen. The Catholic Church needs to come out of the dark ages as when you attempt to control a priest or nun's private life then it is apparent the whole issue is more about CONTROL than religion? I think they are wrong and will die thinking they are wrong. Love and the act of love is why we are all here today and to be denied something that is instinctively natural is cruel so basically the church has brought this sex nightmare on its self. Telling a man or woman they can not have a love life is like telling a fish he can't swim!!! These behind the scenes scandals have been going on since the beginning of the church and it took all these years for the magnitude of it all to come to light! Just another reason in a LONG list of reasons to find the Maker on your own and worship as you see fit without PAYING someone to do it! The way I see it, we all came in to this world alone and for the most part we will be leaving alone and there will be no one from the church there to stand beside you while you plead your case? The church is a business, has been and always will be and any institution that dreams of world domination is a threat, in my humble opinion, and recorded history has more than proven that.
I thought Pope John Paul II was pretty cool. I thought that Mother Thresa was pretty cool. I think that Jessica Alba is really hot.
Aidan, that is a term that's offensive to a lot of people. I would think that being a Constitutional Ally (whatever that is) would have taught you to be more understanding and respectful of people. Wouldn't you say that hatred for homosexuals and wishing them dead was "bigoted"?
Correct me if I'm wrong crystalk, but didn't you mean "when you tell a man AND a woman they can not do something that is absolutely natural...etc." The bone of contention is when two men OR two women participate in the same actions that anyone has some real serious questions. I don't believe you could say these would be described as ABSOLUTELY NATURAL in this light. Please explain.
It might be dependent upon who's ox was being gored! What happened to "free speech" or does that only count when you are saying something you believe in?
