The GOP's New Rape Scale

I won't degrade myself by arguing rape and abortion in the same breath. That's pretty sick and disturbing regardless of party leash.

I could rant that all Conservatives are good with rape but it would be false and delusional.

I was a lot more liberal when I joined this site many years ago. I've changed.

I'm not thrilled with politicians in general if you get right down to it. I'm just less thrilled with the Republicans.

I'd vote Republican in a heartbeat if I saw a reason to do so. I haven't. I have in the past.

I'd love to see a multi party system. Been saying that for a long time if anyone cares to dig.

At this point I think the Tea Party is a joke. Talk with no realistic solutions in my opinion.

I work with a Libertarian. Some good ideas, some bad and once again in my opinion. I don't see them making a huge dent anytime soon due to our antiquated two party system.

I have also said for quite some time that the Republican party has been in decline. I've also said I would like to see them as a stronger party.
Typical "hardcore liberal" thoughts for sure.

If we're going to progress as a country under our antiquated two party system we at least need TWO strong parties.
Checks and balances rather than us vs. them would be nice.
Hell, we might actually accomplish something.

I was listening to a right wing favorite the other day. That would be Stephanie Miller.

The topic was actually how the left is leaning further left and the right further right.
The middle seems to be disappearing and that's scary to me.

Rape and abortion? Only repukes can equate the two but for some reason they still want the woman to carry their rapists babies to term and make more little rapists for them to blame the woman for I suppose. Nobody uses rape as a "justification" for abortion. Abortion is a right all by itself. Rape is the repuke's foot that is often found in their own mouths.

 

So, fog-of-war rears his pathetic head for the first time in days to cheer for abortion? Typical.
Guess there's not much for liberals to be proud of these days.

That was the legal language in "HB 206", by New Mexico's State Representative Cathrynn Brown, stating that rape victims would be charged and arrested for having an abortion due to rape or incest.

 

A hypocritical comment:

Why is that "hypocritical"? If you ask that, you must be republican.

Because republicans don't give a chit about the kid AFTER it's born. They don't want tax-dollars spent on it's upbringing.

 

I am proud that women have the right to choose to have an abortion or not to have an abortion regardless of the the American Taliban want. I will always be proud of that. If you like the idea that the men in society decide what a woman can do with their bodies, move a Muslim country. They are big into controlling women's bodies to the point where women are only allowed to view the world through narrow screens from beneath a burkas. This is your ideal vision for American women.
