Anyway, back to the real topic. Rachel Maddow floated a very interesting theory about Christie's political retribution scandal last night. Neither the Mayor of Fort Lee nor anyone else could figure out why Christie would want to take this political retribution out on this single mayor that didn't endorse his campaign. Lots of mayors didn't endorse him so why take it out on this one guy and this one town? That's a good question. Maddow pointed out that 12 hours before the email ordering the "traffic study" Christie had a press conference in which he called Democrats "Animals" for not allowing him to reappoint a Republican judge that happened to be married to one of his cronies. Christie had previously not reappointed a Democrat judge for no reason and it was the first time is state's history that a judge had not been reappointed. Democrats were angry with his handling of the reappointment and told him that they would raise hell if he tried to reappoint this Republican judge. Christie ended up withdrawing the Republican judge from consideration rather than have her face the Democrats challenge. It was 12 hours later that the email from his deputy chief of staff went to Wildstein and just coincidentally, Fort Lee happened to be the district of the leading Democrat in the state assembly that was blocking his pet judge's nomination. Hum? drip, drip, drip.
But you said they were. And Holder is the only Attorney General ever to be held in contempt of Congress. And are you saying no one was murdered with the guns from fast and furious? Are you saying no one was murdered in Behghazi? Are you saying the Justice department did not tap the AP phones? Are you saying did not target conservative groups? Are you saying Obama did not lie about your insurance just to get reelected? As for Christie, just what did he " disregard or overlook"? THAT WERE FIRED! Obama has fired NO ONE!
That is supposition on your (or Maddow's) part. Please tell us how you think Christie exacted "political retribution" against the mayor. When Christie found out about it, he fired the person responsible. Are you saying Christie ordered the closing of the bridge?
Little Joe, I know how much you hate the Hannity program, but take a look anyway: http://video.foxnews.com/v/30345215...which-scandal-is-more-damning-/#sp=show-clips
I've seen the same attempts at transferring the Christie scandal to any number of past scandals already. That tactic says more about the Right-wing than anything the Democrats can possibly say about them. Refusing to acknowledge Christie's wrong-doing is just one more reason that the Right is losing more voters every election. They simply can't self-assess their own problems but instead try to drag everyone else down with them. My advice is please keep doing it.
Sure no problem, he and/or his operatives brought the traffic flow on the busiest bridge in the world to a crawl for 4 days for the town of Fort Lee NJ for absolutely no reason. Hope that answers your question.
That would be like; He and/or his operatives tapped the AP phones. He and/or his operatives provided the weapons for the Mexico gang murders He and/or his operatives set up the Libyan ambassador to be murdered. He and/or his operatives selectively harassed conservative groups. He and/or his operatives lied to the American public for political reasons.
In another post you claimed Christie was innocent until proven guilty...to what "wrong-doing" are you referring?
You're going to have to prove the "he" in the "he and/or his operatives". Admit it, you're just speculating.
What I said is that he is entitled to due process before he can be found guilty or innocent. I wish that you would apply the same standard to Obama. Please tell me what HE has been convicted of? Hum?
Not really! It WAS his inner circle that he admits committed this crime. It was HIS administration that is responsible by his own admission. By YOUR standards, Obama is guilty without ever being convicted of anything so I am simply using YOUR own standards. I hope that you don't mind.
What in the hell are you talking about? When have I said that Obama is guilty of anything? I've certainly called for investigations into the many scandals surrounding Obama, but I've never said he was guilty of anything. So, you really don't know what you're talking about. Again.
You presented the evidence that said the Obama administration had committed crimes! Funny how by your time line, Christie has released all the evidence and took decisive action against those he found irresponsible, but 4 years after the Obama administrations problems began he has yet to take any action nor release more that a trickle of evidence subpoenaed.
