Last night confirmed for the un-savvy that the Democrat Party sold the soul of this nation for political control.

It refused to put up a truly qualified candidate before a compliant handpuppet to the man behind the curtain.

That was 4 years ago, and we've suffered since for that decision.

No longer useful to them, the Democrats will now try to find another to do their bidding. Finding another so compliant, yet electable will not be so easy.

Finding another so eager as Jobie to sit in the White House and implement their stupid ideas won't be hard at all.

I wonder if the average democrat voter is angry today having been lied to about Joe's condition all this time?

Last night was not a debate. It was an expose' on the Democratic Party and Main Stream Media gaslighting the American Public over the last 4-1/2 years. I think their only way out of this mess is capitulation. They'll have to convince Joe to step aside and then nominate a DINO type candidate and corral the Squad and other ultra-liberal type factions of the party in the back pasture where they belong. I do not think this is a good opportunity for doubling down on a Newsom type candidate.

When it comes to choosing between Trump and Biden's replacement, "better the devil you know than the devil you don't".

At least we know Trump brought us 4 more years of peace and prosperity than Biden did . . . and Biden's replacement will be chosen by the same folks that chose Biden . . . do we really want more of what we just got from TMBTC?

I tuned in to The Five for the first time today. Jeanine Pirro brought up something said last night that I hadn’t heard anyone else talking about. It certainly caught my attention when he said it and, like Jeanine, I believe he meant what he said about wishing Joe was a great president.

Randy had stated before that, win or lose, you support your president and hope that he does a good job. I know I was in this camp when Biden got into office, and then he scribbled his crayon all over things that were working on day one and I lost all confidence.

Trump’s words taken from the transcript of the debate:

“I wish he was a great president. I would rather have that.

I wouldn’t be here. I don’t mind being here, but the only reason I’m here is he’s so bad as a president that I’m going to make America great again. We’re going to make America great again.

We’re a failing nation right now. We’re a seriously failing nation. And we’re a failing nation because of him.”

I missed that . . . either I went to relieve myself at that time or it was after I fell asleep.

    Wish I hadn't . . . I'd've smiled at that one.

After digesting the debate I now have several questions.
    1) Who is actually running this country?
    2) How deep is the coverup by democrats and leftist media on the cognitive decline of Biden?
    3) How does the average American feel about this impaired individual having the nuclear codes.
    4) Do you what this person running the country for the next 7 months?
    5) How are enemies going to react over the next 7 months?
We’ve seen the “cheat fake” spin and how Joes weakness has emboldened our foes. What is going to happen next?

Let me take a stab at these:

After digesting the debate I now have several questions.
    1) Who is actually running this country? Mike called it out a few posts ago. It’s TMBTC. I think it’s a combination of numerous people in the party, Jill Biden, and not her husband.

    2) How deep is the coverup by democrats and leftist media on the cognitive decline of Biden? You’ve heard of the Mariana Trench, I’m sure.

    3) How does the average American feel about this impaired individual having the nuclear codes. I consider myself an average American, and it scares the piss out of me.

    4) Do you what this person running the country for the next 7 months? I didn’t want him running the country shortly after he first sat in the Oval Office.

    5) How are enemies going to react over the next 7 months? Our enemies have already been emboldened by this administration, I expect more of the same.

We’ve seen the “cheat fake” spin and how Joes weakness has emboldened our foes. What is going to happen next? Trump 2024!

We all know that it wasn’t far at all into the debate that it was clear we were seeing the real Joe Biden and that he was not going to have a good night. I wanted to see what reactions from the left were so I jumped over to democratic underground. I never registered over there but check it out once in a while to see the state of the TDS situation. Much to my surprise, the site was closed to non-registered users. Hmm, the timing. Able to get in there now and, OMG, there’s a lot of hair on fire over there. Didn’t know if it would be acceptable to link to a thread, but there’s one that gives a very telling look at the other side and what this debate did to them. @What U ignore , didn’t you say you signed up over there to see if you could stir the bee hive?

Are you kidding? The average democrat does not even have a clue he/she was told lies. Most tings coming out of Biden's mouth in speeches for the last thirty years have been proven to be lies. They play the entire list in his own words on talk radio.

Yes, I stirred the pot for awhile pretending to be one of them but dealing with ignorant idiots like the two that post here get's old quick. The are too ignorant about BOTH SIDES of a subject to carry on a discussion OR EVEN RESPOND TO DIRECT QUESTINS. It's lucky I don't run this place because I would give fair warnings to respond to direct questions about something they posted and after a few "crickets" thread they would get the boot for good. Additionally - no ignore feature. I would run the worthless members out!

All I want for Christmas is a few knowledgeable Marxists, Liberals, Democrats, and light in the Bass, sockless, Ivy educated leftists who can hold their own w/o crapping up the place like a retired old plumber.

So obviously Biden did far worse (performance wise at least). Do you guys see this actually changing any votes though? I'm pretty sure we're to the point where most voters know it's a zero sum equation in the generals. We also have known both the candidates for so long it's hard to imagine anyone is "on the fence" and wants to learn more about the candidates but haven't already done so.

So I don't think this really has a chance to change minds, but we'll see as polls on the election come out and we get closer. There's still an eternity until election day

You don’t think that there is a demographic that doesn’t concern themselves with politics until election season comes around? I believe the politically desensitized crowd makes up a third of our electorate at least.

    From the Canadian media analysis......

Democrats are in "panic mode", Trump annihilated Biden. Most lobe sided political in history. Trump will be next President.

For my two cents/ Trump can get a massive landslide win if he campaigns on keeping US in NATO/ then arm Ukrainians to WIN war vs Putin. Destroy Russian Federation/ send warnings too China/ Iran/ North Korea they are next....

That's basically the opposite of Traffic position. He's no fan of NATO and multiple times during the debate made cracks about how he thinks we're giving way too much money to Ukraine.

Sure, but if they exist then it's still way too far out for them. 1/3 of year+ until the election

He will need to stop Putin in Ukraine/ remember Putin boosted that "Alaska" is Russian territory. He is dealing with a pyschopathic dictator who is fully supported by a :brainwashed" populace. The Russians are far more a danger to the US/ then a bunch of aliens entering US/ from Southern border.:)

I agree, I just don't think Trump will be the one to stop Russia, as he keeps telling us he wants to stop money/weapons to Ukraine. He does say he's tough on Russia, but only on terms of vague posturing. The only actionable things we're doing to stop Russia (weapons/funding for Ukraine, build up NATO alliances) Trump is against.
