So this thing has me very creeped out. I was paying attention to this six months ago because I felt it was a serious national security concern. Now I think we are up to eleven disappeared high level scientists maybe? I am very interested in what @GeneWright may have to say being that he is a scientist. Is this all just some strange coincidence? What is the scientific communities take on this?

I too have been watching this "trend" for some time, and believe these folks were singled out as linchpins of American progress on secret US projects by co-workers who covertly participate on behalf of one or more foreign concerns. This smacks of "If we can't figure it out, we can at least prevent them from figuring it out".

The foregoing comment surely seems conspiratorial in nature, but I look for patterns throughout the world around me and formulate my beliefs based on those observations. Rarely do I chalk up such repeated incidents as being truly coincidental. A couple of incidents a couple of years apart? . . . Okay, that I can accept as coincidence, at least temporarily. But, as the incidents grow in number and concentrate temporally, my outlook changes considerably.
