As for Moens brain-dead ramblings, if someone pulls a gun on you and demands your money or he kills your kids, would you want to have an Uzi in your hand at that moment in time? Would you use it on him? If the answer to either of these is yes then you have shown yourself to be a hypocrite. Why don't we get this back on topic, hmm? I think the death penalty is a good thing. It deters crime(which in itself is enough for me), it gets these sickos out of taxpayer funded prisons, they can't escape or get out of prison and go do it again. What do you say to this?

 

How about rehabilitation?

 

How about justice? The victim is not getting justice if the crook gets rehab. Also, I doubt any American wants to pay for some criminal to be rehabilitated. It's their fault they are a criminal, not ours. I've never seen an example of rehab working anyway, have you?

 

How about summary execution !!! upon re offense ?

no second trial, no appeals ,no excuses !!!

Execute them the first time and no one else gets hurt, because there wouldn't be a second offense.

 

I think that with our great strides in technology we may be able to rehabilitate some of these people. It would be very uncomfortable for them though.

 

Who cares about whether it's uncomfortable or whether they like it??? The issue here should be justice. I don't give a damn if they get rehabilitated, but the victims here should get justice, and that's what a justice system is for. It's too bad bleeding-heart liberals like that Cashman get on the bench. I bet you think he made a good decision, right?

You know the criminal knows that he is a criminal !! he knows that the second that he is released that the world is full of victims waiting to be preyed upon,

and given an opportunity that is exactly what they will do, that is why I made my earlier post, it was Rhetorical in nature since most of the criminals given that option would refuse it, since they know that they will re offend in a short time on the street, thats just the way it is .

They look at the masses and know that they have very little risk of being opposed by them ,, because they know that most people will not or cannot defend themselves,they also know that the police are report takers they very seldom are in a position to prevent crime .

You know the notion of rehailitation is noble but it has been proven time and again to be a falasy ,,if thirty years behind bars does not change a persons mind there is no amount of reconditioning that will do it .

Its time for this country to wake up, with millions of street gang memebrs and at any given time dozens of serial killers and hundreds of child predators active at any given moment people had better get their act together and figure out that protection begins at home !!
