I doubt they'll be creating any national holidays celebrating Jr.'s birth. Maybe his (eventual) death, but not his birth. We could be that dumb in America though, I'm sure that somewhere in America people are saying how great the DA was as POTUS. Republicans of course... so it's expected they do something that dumb. I mean, look at how they praise Reagan? And he was god-awful. Almost as god-awful as Jr.
I hope that we do not give up the Kurds. With that said, Iraq was a blown opportunity to bring true freedom in that region with the understanding that it would take generations and without American boots on the ground. We had the chance to set up a puppet Hussien Clan Government with the largest standing arab army with the idea that we let them stay in power as short term and long term positve changes happen. The truth of the matter is to defeat Islamic control you have to free the women and create a society of free thought. It has happened elsewhere with other religions, shame we didn't use history as a textbook end plan. Now the Islamic religous war continues around the world with no positive alternative in sight.
