    LOL:

JIMMY FALLON: That’s right, the White House said that it surpassed its goal for people enrolled in ObamaCare. It’s amazing what you can achieve when you make something mandatory and fine people if they don't do it. And then keep extending the deadline for months. It’s like a Cinderella story. It’s just a beautiful thing. You make everyone do it. Isn’t it great how many people do it? But if you still haven't enrolled, you might have to pay a penalty called the individual shared responsibility payment, which is 1% of your salary. Then Americans said, ‘Man, good thing I don't have a job.

I can hear the WH discussion now...

"Just think, we could have gotten more than 7 million to sign-up if we made the threats & penalties worse or if we reached out to people in countries other than Mexico or if we forced more people off their current insurance....damn, we should have thought this thing through a little better".

As I said, this is the next FOX supplied meme they'd go with and I wasn't wrong.

So I have to ask, and I really don't expect a credible answer, how does FOX know this? How could FOX possibly have cobbled together all the numbers from all the different insures and "suggest" that there are only 6 million enrolled? I "suggest" that you find a less biased source but that is just me.

Here is what you said. So I guess it is a Mr. RB supplied meme also. OOPS! That puts you and Fox in agreement.

Again you idiot, can't you tell the difference between enrollments and payments? Are you really that damn thick? Why did I put a question mark at the end of that statement.

I can easily tell the difference. Maybe it is your definition that needs to be current with the rest of the world. Try this one. How many students do you have enrolled at your school? Now how many of them have not paid or in same way, shape or manner made arrangements to pay (i.e. scholarships, loans, etc.)?

So your big gripe with ACA is helping the poor?

In order to help the poor, at least 50% of them have to be better off. With all of the economic downsides to Obamacare, how can you say the poor aren't increasing significantly?

You think Im confused? Before our plan was canceled the average premium for my employees was 242 mo with $1000 individual or $1500 family decuctible. Now the average cost is 385 mo with 3000/5000 deductible. Im not confused just feeling screwed and afraid I might lose good workers.

Can that be right? A 62.9% average increase in premiums and a 33% and 30% (respectively) average increase in deductibles? That's incredible! Would someone who favors Obamacare please explain how the premiums/deductibles could go up that much??? Russo, you have my sympathies. Obamacare is hurting a lot of people; I'm sorry you and your employees are being subjected to this increase.

Wait now. If you are in the same market place as EVERYONE else, how would you lose workers?

Would you please explain how the ACA increased Russo's rates so much? If you don't know, just simply say so.

I would like to hear the answer as well.
The left trots out fools like Harry Reid to claim everyone who has a story of Obamacare negatively impacting them is flat out lying. Well, here we seem to have a real-world instance of people being made to suffer under Obamacare. What's up?

Unless RUSSO wants to lay out his income, assets, tax returns, etc, nobody can answer that question. But thinking that his situation is the exception that proves the rule is pretty stupid considering ALL of the other stories to the contrary.

You're dead wrong if you think examples like Russo's are the exception instead of the rule- I've seen it firsthand way too many times.
The simple fact is that Obamacare benefits a few at the expense of the many.

Then we will just have to take Russo at his word. I don't doubt him one bit and his story is certainly NOT the exception to the rule. He said their plan was cancelled. How many people do you think had their plans cancelled? I'll answer that for you: MILLIONS, that's for sure! Does that sound like an exception to the rule to you?

To start with, it has to cover birth control for everyone. That is $3,000 per year according to Fluke (if I remember correctly). So those who pay full price have got to pay for their coverage plus coverage for all those with supported rates. On top of that, they have to pay extra to support the advance age who would otherwise have very high premiums.

Do you mean like pooled risk? You can't buy any kind of insurance without entering into that type of arrangement. That's how insurance works. I have car insurance, life insurance, home owner's insurance, etc. I may never use any of the benefits associated with any of those types of insurances but I still pay them every month. Health insurance is no different. In fact, you statistically are very, very likely to use medical insurance at some point. It would be unusual if you didn't.
