I've got no problem with Jesus except for his my-way-or-the-highway approach. Other than that, he's just a harmless collection of moral commonplaces shared by religions and moral codes in general. The only marginally interesting thing about him is whether he was an actual individual or if he was literary device; a composite of the numerous prophets and holy men who were common in the day. His followers are a different story. THEY are "interesting" in all sorts of ways.
What about the "Mary" rumor? I mean, the guy hung around with twelve dudes, who followed his every word, right? I'm just saying that maybe "Mary" was a cover story.

Jesus is a friend of mine, sir...despite his father's failure to pay back the IOU he gave me after I slaughtered him in poker. He is a horrible card player, he gets a good hand and sunshine, he gets a bad one it rains. Easy money...if he ever pays up!
