Blaming the victim should always be your first choice.

So it was the health care's responsibility that he robbed a bank. Yep! It is always someone else's responsibility, right?

Thats right the article didnt say. Yet you know the root of the problem.

Something seems fishy about this story to me. It doesn't make sense. If he was 20 years old, it might make more sense. But in essence, this old guy just decided "on his own" that he needs to extend his life, even if it only amounts to sitting in jail for the rest of the few years he has left. He said he doesn't want to leave.

He's either lost his mind or been set up by one of the radicals to promote BO's plan, with a crazy story that was bound to make national news.

This is a forum. I'm entitled to my opinion. Prove it wasn't the Obamaconomy that's keeping the guy from being employed. Your guess is probably that it wasn't, but I'm basing my opinion on the fact that our current economy is the worst our generation has encountered and that unemployment has skyrocketed (probably affecting the guy in the article). Therefore, my opinion is based on the current state of affairs. My comment that "maybe he didn't want to work" is simply a guess. I'm guessing that you probably don't want to work, either.

You wrote it as if it were fact. Not your opinion. You can base your opinion on anything. Doesn't make it correct. You're right about one thing. I'm guessing the guy might be mentally ill, which caused him to make such an irrational decision. Don't you and that other opinionated right wing extremist believe responsibility lies on the individual? But to you this is Obama's fault. Not the individuals. That's being a hypocrite. But I would expect no less from you.

You asked for a reason not to like Obama's health program, not health care in general. C'mon.

Irrational decision? Let's weigh the two options here. 1) Keep living on the streets until your ailments kill you or, 2) Be incarcerated for 3 years and have your medical problems addressed until you are paroled then go on Medicare. Tough decision? I think robbing the bank was his best option.

P.S. Right wingers can't tell the difference between their opinions and actual facts. That is why they never provide any proof other than their opinions and beliefs.

Are you calling yourself a "right winger"? You just offered you opinions that differs from the facts and offered no proof.

So you think robbing a bank for any reason is a sound decision?

Yes! No, HELL Yes! Again, die or get medical treatment? The man would be insane to just let himself die. He clearly was nonviolent and didn't want the money in the bank, he just wanted to get medical treatment the only way this country has to offer him. I think it was a brilliant solution to his problem.

Its not the only way if you are poor. And you know it.

The guy should have just registered republican and become incorporated if he wanted a quicker route to jail.

Oh Craig, you can be so trusting sometimes. Google these two words, "Homeless" and "Medicaid". What you find out is that states all have different rules. The care you get or don't get depends on which state you live in. But in just about every case, you are limited to emergency room care if you are homeless and the people that get the least consideration, are men. Medicaid is a social safety net but it is full of holes and those holes have become even bigger during this recession. I think it makes people feel better to believe that programs like Medicaid take care of everyone in need but in reality what you think you know is more myth than reality. You honestly think this guy wouldn't have taken the easy route of just waking into a hospital or clinic and saying "I'm poor and homeless,. Now treat me." if it really was an option? Oh Craig.

You know, a much easier solution to Obamacare (and one that would probably recieve popular & bi-partisan support) would be to simply offer a program which offers healthcare to those who can't get coverage or can't afford coverage. Make inclusion voluntary. Sounds simple enough doesn't it?

Ha ha ha ha! What you're talking about is Medicare. I'll be happy to go with your solution.
