I have to admit, these idiots have inadvertently fallen into the Trump policy of encouraging our NATO allies to PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE and demonstrate leadership in Europe. Credit where credit is due. ;)

If Biden continues to implement President Trump's policies of supporting law enforcement and securing our borders, he may salvage his Presidency, yet...(but he won't). The Democrat party is no longer controlled by Americans willing to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. That's a problem. All these "crises" are intentionally created by the U.S. DNC and promoted by a compliant MSM to promote "Democratic-Socialism" (aka. "Fascism").

Btw, when Democrats pivot from "Defund the Police" to "Fund the Police", that just means they found a way to redefine what "Police" means. Simply extending the label of "Police" to social workers and community organizers isn't the answer.

I don't drink hardly at all anymore (Type-2 diabetes), but I broke training for the SOTU Address. This explains my (more than normal :)) random comments...

If you live in SC and golf, maybe we can get together in MB for a few rounds. I really like Caledonia Golf and Fish Club on Pawley's Island, but there are plenty of quality courses in the area. Thistle GC is another course I like. It's a Links style course. It doesn't seem like much at first blush, but every time I play it, I don't wanna stop.

I used to surf cast most every day growing up in CT, but that's all I really know. Whiting, Blackfish, Strippers, Bluefish, Flounder (mostly), Sea Robins (Yuk!), Eels (Double Yuk!), etc.

Sounds great! I'm looking for a retirement place in the Lancaster PA area, but will certainly give you a shout when next I head South. I have family in St. Augustine and they've been after me for a visit.

Yes, but the idea of the Overton window shift is that where those hands are centered is not only fluid, but manipulatable.

Here's an example of a shift from the 19th century on slavery. Initially ending slavery completely was a radical abolitionist stance, and wasn't considered in policy.

Labeling Biden of all people a "radical leftist" is a clear indication to me of an attempt to shift the Overton window right.

Let alone calling Biden a hard leftist, I never even hinted at it. Self-serving, incompetent, and subservient to the leftists, yes, but not a radical leftist himself.

I can appreciate that you personally do not engage in it, but it's fairly apparent that many here think he's: radical, socialist, communist, etc. and it's laughable

Are you aware that the importation of new slaves was made illegal in 1807, shortly after the Constitution was ratified? It was the Constitution that promoted the eventual end of Slavery...nothing else.

Slavery was an economic system foisted on the South for hundreds of years...by the North. It was an extension of the economic system used for years in the British West Indies. Northern industrialists needed slaves to increase production of raw materials produced in the South (cotton, sugar, etc) and the Triangle Trade was a convenient source. It wasn't Southern ships that brought the slaves...they were British/New England ships.

The Civil War was about State/Territorial Rights...not Slavery. Slavery was just the rhetoric of the day. If it wasn't Slavery, it would have been something else. The result of freeing slaves with no transition plan in place resulted in "racial genocide by neglect". In the 1850s, The North used our Black Brothers and Sisters to extend their political control. Their actions were reprehensible!

The most horrific crime against Blacks was the Civil War. Were you aware that 25% of former slaves perished in the 4 years following the Civil War...due to famine? Most freed slaves returned to their former owners after a few months and worked at their former jobs, but under much harsher conditions. Their market value had dropped to zero.

Don't kid yourself, we all have a "market value". That's why we go to school...to increase our market value. Slavery is a Socialist Utopia...guaranteed employment, no taxes, free food, clothing, housing, healthcare, childcare, etc...basically, Slavery is today's DNC platform. Everything old is new again!

I'm not arguing "for" Slavery...far from it. I'm not a Democrat! I'm just pointing out the holes in your education.
