The gaslighting is nauseating. One of the biggest gaslights is the Myth of Corporate Tax. Biden says, "No one earning less than $400,000 will pay one red cent in additional taxes. We're gonna make corporations PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE!!!"

Corporations don't exist...only people exist. A corporation is nothing but a piece of paper. Corporate taxes are an expense that's passed along to the consumer like any other expense. Anything else would make a company uncompetitive in capital markets. Businesses can't operate efficiently without access to short term capital.

Does anyone seriously think inflation's not a tax? Corporate tax is a regressive tax that comes straight out of consumers' pockets. To suggest otherwise is to knowingly create an alternate reality...gaslighting.

I have managed to catch up. Heard a lot of scripted moderate talking points that I don't feel very confident about. I suppose being an election year that should be expected.... I am floored by the Squad rebuttal. So damned sick of this "Republicans are the party of the rich" message.... It is a childish message designed to get uninformed young voters hackles up. I don't know the background of any of the squad members, however I would bet a dollar to a bucket of mud that not one of them has ever had to meet payroll and have absolutely no clue what their words mean. It is a divisive message. Job creators in our nation should be applauded. Particularly given the circumstances we have been forced to operate under.

This is a concept that is not understood by anyone that has never had to meet payroll.

 

Gaslighting (menticide) needs to be independently evaluated and exposed. Menticide is an attack on the Public's mental health and an appropriate target for regulation. We have laws against false advertising (demonstrably false claims intended to defraud the Public). Why can't this concept extend to Politics and social/print media?

Claims...such as "No one making under $400,000 will pay one red cent in new taxes"...or..."Wealthy corporations will pay your benefits" are demonstrably false and need to be called out. The MSM has been compromised and their "journalists" are gaslight shills. If these ideas can't be defended in a Court of Law, then further gaslighting should results in fines or (ultimately) loss of FCC license for repeated offenses.

When Democrats claim that 55 companies pay ZERO income tax, they should explain "why" those companies pay ZERO income tax...and why that's wrong. If a company's tax reporting follows prescribed law, it should be reported that way. If the problem is with tax law, then address that.

All this BS can't continue...and partisan "fact checkers" don't feed the bulldog.

 

Democrats have lost touch with reality. They're living in a Disney World.



I worked at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD at the end of my career. I worked with quite a few very talented engineers and scientists, but 90% of the rest are "Woke" Gen-(whatevers) who think fixing printer jams makes them Climatologists. I'm so sick of it.

 

Overall, about 8 in 10 of speech watchers approved of Mr. Biden's address tonight, including majorities of both Democrats and independents. Among members of his own party, his speech received high marks among both liberals and moderates.

 

Making something of nothing is pretty hard to do . . . They must be very proud of their fellow speech-writers, because there's certainly no reason to be proud of their president.
