Speculate on election (if McCain picked Romney instead of crazy woman).

First off I like McCain (I live in AZ and I have spoken with the guy, I disagree with some of his views but he is a solid guy). Mccain gave in to wacko right wing religious extremists when he invited crazy woman to share his ticket. If he had chosen Romney (who has extensive credentials on the economy) he would have scored at least a few more states.
Your thoughts?

First, I don't believe they care for each other and didn't think they could work together and secondly, I think they both knew that Obama & the left would attack Romney for his religious beliefs.

 

It probably would not have gained my vote but I might have thought a little longer about it.

 

I bet McCain would have selected Romney had he known the campaign would end up with the economy as the only issue.

Romney would have caried a cpl more states, but the Mormon factor would have lost others. In AZ we see Mormans as just another religion, however, they are " scary " to other parts of the nation.

I disagree with the crazy woman part, lol. She got him more votes than anybody else would have.

McCain lost because he is not a rebublican and damn sure not a conservative.
