So how long has France been burning?

I have not followed it closely but then again there is not hour long length coverage of it as well. But France is burning and as far as I know, remember I stated that I have not followed this closely, is that it is not "native french" burning it. Is this a preview of the future of Europe with riots turning into street battles with train bombings and all? Remember those who are burning are still a minority. What is going to happen when they are not so much of a minority
but more of the majority.

 

Is the white flag factory in jeapordy? I would hate to see France lose its only international negotiating symbol.

 

Well, the riots in Los Angeles in the early 1990s did not turn the US into total chaos. Similarly it would be wrong to say that France was burning. But what we see in the suburbs of Paris, Lyon and some other places may well happen elsewhere if the conditions are "right". Just think of the riots in the UK, just a couple of days ago, like in Birmingham.

As for France, in my opinion the government - notably minister Sarkozy - has not done enough to de-escalate the situation. Au contraire ...

Rioting is mainly in the suberbs of Paris and been going on for just over a week, can I ask what do you guy;s realy have against the French ? after all you in all honesty owe them your Indipendence.

If you travel through northern Paris, you might just as well as be in Algeria. There are now millions of North Africans that have settled in France. When I was in Paris I noticed that the French do tend to treat them as second class citizens, it was interesting watching traffic stops of native French, and then North Africans, there was a notable difference in the demeanor of the Gendarmes.

 

You right rambo for when this type of minority becomes the majority everyone else dies but a handful of tokens to be shown to the press as a symbol of tolerance. The religion of love sure does love to burn down schools. At least that was what I saw on the BBC without the reference to islam but instead North Africa.

Alot of them are not even citizens from my understanding. Think of yourself as inviting a couple of people from across the street over and they bring the whole building and then demand your house.

 

They should also have stricter controlls on the borders it is way to easy to go from one country to the next in Europe these days, and I am not just talking about within the EEC.
We in this country have been way to easy on Illegals for way to long and should start to clamp down hard as we had our own rioting in Birmingham a week or so ago (It was between Muslims & the Afro-Caribean comunity ) I am not talking about the folks escaping political opressionm they should be allowed to stay until things change for the better but the economic migrants.

The Indian genocide happened before my lifetime and before my family came to this nation.
However in my lifetime the native americans get goverment checks up to 25,000 a year per person that I know of and casino checks up to 50,000 per person per year where I live. 75.000 up front before leaving the house, not to bad and that includes children.
Of course this can not make up what happened but shows remorse of a nation of people who for the most part had nothing to do with what happened in that horrible genocide.

I have stated many times that the USA is a democracy in progress. It is always evolving and bettering itself. Other parts of the world want to live in the dark ages.

Yes, the Native Americans get these monies, well some do, some tribes such as the Cherokee do not, but these that do, often burn through the money with life's luxuries like alcohol, cigarettes, snowmobiles etc.

They are also guaranteed jobs on the reservation, it is kind of like a socialist system, they don't have to work, but get a good pay cheque for standing around.

It all comes down to one basic life principal they miss out on - adequate education. Most Native Americans never make it past grammar school, and remarkably few past high school. College is something they often have no concept of.

No education - bad decisions in life.

I say they should stop handing out money to Native Americans, and give them only a free education through college. The only free ride should be a free education. It is cheaper to educate and prepare people for life than to not educate and let them live off the state for the whole of their lives.

 

I have a neighbor girl who belongs to a very small southern California tribe that allegedly receives $15K per month from casino profits.

I think it is a big mistake for the United States to recognize and reward a sub-group of American citizens so lavishly. One can not make-up for past injustices. The ancestors of almost every American were severely abused at one time or another.

The natural spread of human diseases killed most of the Indians, not bullets.

Indian casinos are a travesty, and sometimes corrupt and fradulent.

I believe that the Navajo Nation choses not to build them.

 

Don't believe everything you see in the movies Krasnaya, it isn't quite like that in reality. Here are a few fact:
American and Alaskan Indians dropout rates from school are: rural districts 4%, large urban districts 7% (this is from the latest figures 2003).
Black and Hispanic averaged about 10%
Asian students had the lowest at 0.5%

Graduation rates for the 9th through 12th. grade for Indian children were:
82% for all 4 year completion in 20 of the 23 reporting states. Note: this figure does not include those getting GED's .

The problem with that rambozo is that they want to bring the rest of the world into that mindset as well by any means possible.

 

It is recorded from death certificates from major cities like New York, Boston, Balitmore, etc. That over 1 million Irish fleeing the "Great Potato Famine of Ireland" starved to death or died from diseases from malnutrition in the port cities of the United States.

I could cite more examples that quickdog is alluding to but the point is the leftwing press or the leftwing educational elite do not mention these facts when they talk about abuses in history. It is as if everyone with a white face came to this nation middle class or rich and those white working poor of today do not exisit.
