Most of you should know who she is, one of the worlds most well known psychics. When I see her on Tv theres just something about her...i dont know what it is..I guess what im trying to say is that she seems like a fake or a fraud...but thats just my opinion. what do you think?

You can read about her at her personal website here

Maybe, if she's really a psychic, she knows where Bin Laden is....Probably not.

I don't know.... I read a book by her son, and it seems consistant with documented reports of actual psychic ability. I personally believe in the phenomenon, and if I had to pick a side, until someone proves to me otherwise, I would say she is legit.

    (I love the paranormal!)

I'm sorry but if she is as good as they say, how come Montel always has to tell her who she's talking to? If she can tell what their dead loved-ones are doing she should at least know their names!

There are quite a few well-documented cases which appear to be legitimate paranormal visions or precognitions. That said, I would have to assume that 95 percent of all the individuals who claim to have such powers are either dillusional or lying. I am not sure about the percentages there.

I think the most interesting aspect of potential paranormal events is the consideration of what even a single legitimate case of precognition or remote vision would mean in terms of our understanding of time, space, physics, the biological sciences, and religion.

I used to be a card-carrying member of the James Randi Education Foundation (and I would still be, if I had the money to contribute.)

Yeah, Sylvia has a history with Randi, and it can be amusing to read about. Until there is a demonstration to the contrary, I'll have to assume Sylvia is a despicable fraud.

Randi's foundation IS biased...in favor of backing up claims with evidence.

That's one of the reasons why reported paranormal events seem so doubtful; if there really were a well-documented case, scientists would be all over it. Anyone who can make such a great discovery would be a revolutionary hero, world-famous. But that sort of thing doesn't seem to happen.
