We all have it. Believe it or not, they teach us that at Chaplain School. Everybody knows I have candy, yet everybody's always surprised in a happy way when I show up with it. I was on a hump a few weeks back, and handing out candy by the handful. One Marine hit my hand and there were Jolly Ranchers all over the place. The Marines broke ranks and dove on them like a bunch of kids when the pinata gets busted. Grown men, trained in numerous ways to kill their fellow man, and they're risking getting yelled at for a free Jolly Rancher or two.
Too funny! And it sounds very familiar. Chaplains were always the most popular people on deployments for many reasons...and not just candy. Some places definitely bring one closer to their beliefs. Keep up the good work.
