The islamic world is acting like the Nazis of 1938. Matter of fact, the muslim world is using much of the same German hate garbage that Hitler spewed to gain power! Since Islam uses "victimization" by blaming all of their ills on the "decendents of apes and pigs" (it is in the Koran, look it up!), the similiarities of the two "religions" are indeed very similiar. Go ahead and google Nazis with Islam and the evidece is overwhelming.

    Consider the following:

Mein Kampf- States that Germans are the superior race of mankind and that Germany is destined to rule the world , and dominate all other races and nations.

The Q'uran-States that Islam and Muslims are the superiors of mankind and that Islam is divinely mandated to rule the world and dominate all other races, creeds and nations.

    ...

Mein Kampf-Says that the German State is to have control over every aspect of life. Says all individuals must submit to the State.

The Q'uran-Says that Islam and Sharia is to have control over every aspect of life. Says all individuals must submit to Islam.

    ...

Mein Kampf-Says that Germans have the duty to claim their divinely appointed place in the world by whatever means necessary. Puts loyalty to the Volk (the race) above all other ethical considerations.

The Q'uran-Says that Muslims have a duty to wage Jihad and to advance Islam's domination over the world (Dar Islam and Dar Harb) by any means necessary. Places loyalty to fellow Muslims (Umma) and Islam above all other ethical considerations.

    ...

Mein Kampf-Mandates that men are superior to women and that women's place should be limited to procreation, the kitchen and the home.

The Q'uran-Mandates that men are superior to women and that women's place should be limited to procreation, the kitchen and the home. (Admittedly, the Q'uran goes quite a bit farther than Mein Kampf on this topic because muslim men are allowed to beat their women)

    ...

Mein Kampf-Says that homosexuals are 'race traitors' and should be condemned to death. (Many, in fact were murdered in the concentration camps).

The Q'uran-Says homosexuals are unholy to Allah and should be condemned to death

    ...

Mein Kampf-Sets out a detailed model for world conquest, including rules for how conquered peoples are to be suppressed and dominated by the German race. States that the wealth, resources and property of subject peoples belongs to Germans by right and the right to life for subject peoples is dependent on Germans. States that non-Germans have no legal or civil rights.

The Q'uran-Sets out a detailed model for world conquest, including rules for how conquered peoples are to be suppressed and dominated by Muslims. States that the wealth, resources and property of subject peoples belongs to Muslims by right and the right to life for subject peoples is dependent on Muslims. States that non-Muslims have no legal or civil rights. (in truth, a lot of this has its basis in the Hadith and the Sunna, but both derive essentially from what's in the Q'uran, along with all the other aspects of Sharia).

    ...

Mein Kampf-Divides the world into 'German land' and enemy territory. States that land with Germans living in it or land that once had Germans ruling it rightfully belongs to Germany, and Germany is entitled to get it back by any means necessary.

The Q'uran-Divides the world into 'Dar al Islam' (Muslim ruled land) and enemy territory (Dar al Harb). States that land with Muslims living in it or land that once had Muslims ruling it rightfully belongs to Dar al Islam, and Muslims are entitled to get it back by any means necessary.

    ...

Mein Kampf-Blames the Jews for society's ills and says that they will be exterminated.

The Q'uran-Blames the Jews for society's ills and says that they will be exterminated. ("On the day of Judgement the rocks and trees will call out 'O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me! Come and slay him!")

Islam and Nazism. Mohammed and Hitler. As plain as day, they are cut from the same cloth.

Yes there are many similarities but what you are overlooking is that many, many religions, have used the same techiques throughout history to gain power. This is nothing new or unique to Islam. Evangelists in your own country use the same method to recruit new members and further their own political influence. They bash gays, Liberals, intellectuals, feminists, etc., because it is easier to blame someone else for your problems than to look at yourself ala Ted Haggarty.

Fascism took it's lessons from the great religious movements of early European societies when religious based city states dominated the landscape. Crusaders, Conquistadors, The Catholic churches suppression of italian intellectuals, it goes on and on. Islam is no different and no more correct than any of these past failures in societal reformation. They will fail once they have had their 15 minutes.

Comparing Islam to the Nazis is an apt comparison is some ways but we aren't at war with a country but rather an ideology based in Islam. We have to win the ideolgical war not on the battlefield but in the court of world opinion. To do this we need to have a dialog not wars. Your Germany vs. the world breaks down pretty quickly once you understand what we are really fighting.

We can't even win the ideological war in America. Collectivism has the same characteristics whether you call it Nazism, Communism, socialism. facism, theocracy or whatever the flavor of the day happens to be. The differences are in degree, not in political philosophy. Every one places the rights of the group above the rights of the individual. Since 99% of the world is now collectivist, there isn't a "court of world opinion" worth trying to impress.

Midas, genuine Muslims don't believe in what you've posted there.I do agree with the Islamic viewpoint about putting homosexuals to death though.

I spoke to the Rabbi from the Reform Jewish congregation down the road from where I live a few months ago.She told me that Muslims actually have a lot in common with Reform Jews than a lot of people realise.

Yes,there are such things as women Rabbis.

Danr,it is Midas that started this off.I don't stereotype all people of one religion with the same brush.I don't tar all Roman Catholics with the same brush.Only those who support Sinn Fein/I.R.A.'s terrorist agenda deserve to be condemned.

Hitler recieved direct support in his aim to kill all the Jews from non other than the leading Muslim of his day, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, there was even a Muslim SS Division  (Not bad in the heart of the master race LOL).
So yes there is a corrolation between the Nazi party and the Muslims, after the war numerouse party mambers were given refuge in Muslim countries and in a number of cases helped to modernise the secret police deptments and to aid in the purging of Jews.
I would also like to point out that Nazism was not a Country (Germany just happend to be its main constituent) either but a creed or doctrin, call it what you will and there were a number of countries that supported it, so it to like the Muslim faith crossed National borders.
