They are both just a couple of corporate tools playing their rich guy game. Besides, it practically part of the job. Talking golf makes a great ice breaker during business conversations with fat cat lobbyists.
How about if I say that I think they are all commentary and it is the idiots who think of them as news that should have their heads examined?
Interesting statment Moen. I frequetnly get to hear Rush and Mancow at work. Rush, is of course Rush. Mancow is in his words a Libertarian. I hear these guys bash Obama on a daily basis. I stated some time ago (like months) that I gained some respect for Mancow when he ACTUALLY had himself waterboarded after Hannity shot his mouth off. Hey, I don't generally agree with the guy but at least he put his money where his mouth is. He did NOT like it by the way. If I choose to watch anything at home it is Olberman or Maddow. Now why would that be after listening to the likes of Rush at work. Hmmmm...... Maybe because it presents a different angle? Folks can bash anything they want. We have that right. However if one says "I just can't listen to Olberman" then you've already clamped your mnd shut in a big way. I don't like Rush but I sure as hell hear enough of him. Occaionally I think he makes a lucid point but not often honestly. Still I listen. How about the naysayers of people like Olberman and Maddow? Olberman over the top at times? No doubt. Maddow - perhaps some should listen a bit closer to this lesbian. Yes, she is a lesbian. A smart lesbian that invites people on to her show and actually lets them speak. No mike cutoffs to my knowledge. News is a lot like politics really. Fox is right and MSNBC is left. We need both sides. We need MORE sides actually.
