I think we should reflect and apply a relevant statement:

“Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice. One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. Evil always carries within itself the germ of its own subversion in that it leaves behind in human beings at least a sense of unease. Against stupidity we are defenseless. Neither protests nor the use of force accomplish anything here; reasons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one’s prejudgment simply need not be believed – in such moments the stupid person even becomes critical – and when facts are irrefutable they are just pushed aside as inconsequential, as incidental. In all this the stupid person, in contrast to the malicious one, is utterly self satisfied and, being easily irritated, becomes dangerous by going on the attack. For that reason, greater caution is called for when dealing with a stupid person than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.”

    Here's an updated one

For the record, I'm on board with the largest reasons in your data: not being in a good position to raise children right now (combining the biggest 2, seems there's a ton of overlap anyway). That's totally natural and normal.

My dude, he is literally talking about you, himself, and the other people posting in this thread when he says "4-5 old men"

Maybe don't talk about other people's "reading comprehension" until you're sure of your own ;)

Not so fast, Racist Joe. Men can get pregnant (according to this source, at least):

There's even a "pregnant man" emoji:

So, please don't disparage the "men" who can get pregnant, OK? There are a lot of transgender men out there who are planning on getting pregnant and will, unfortunately, abort some of those babies.

My mother didn't have the choice. I was born in 1958. It wasn't an option. She didn't have the right, the access, or the support to have aborted anything. What she wanted to do or not due was dictated to her by old men. Good times, eh?

Cute meme, it’s nobody’s business especially if someone else is paying for it. So you agree with the majority of the data that a pregnancy is an inconvenience, therefore it’s a justified abortion. Not surprising, don’t you also believe that student debt should be forgiven, at someone else’s expense. Sounds like you are ok with the lack of personal responsibility.

If you are claiming JN is only talking about the thread posters, and not referring to the OP theme…. SCOTUS…. OK. Maybe JN should quit making posts that are obviously cognitively deficient:

I took the 4-5 as an en dash reference. If that’s not the case touché.

Wasn’t this the excuse for Roe? Coat hanger abortions were happening in the back alleys and bathrooms frequently ,right? Roe was going to make abortions safe and rare?

My math is pretty good. Like I calculated that you cited upwards of 35-year-old data. Considering the lag between surveys and publications, the data could be even older. Show us a survey from this year. It isn't hard, many, many research entities study this issue and the preponderance of the data clearly indicates that Americans, by large margins, do not want access to safe and legal abortion. So, brush up on your math and try and find a survey that your mom didn't complete while she was breast feed your nasty ass.

Who made that argument at the time? I mean in 1973? That's what you're implying. Who was it and in what context? I'd like to hear or read those historical words if they exist.

Can you tell me why you want women to have no choice in whether or not they bring another life into this world? Why do you feel that her choice is the government's choice to make or why it should be?

Not being ready to properly raise a child isn't an "inconvenience" it's a disservice to yourself and potential children.

Then exercise prudence. Not hard. It’s free (taxpayer funded) in the US. You can pick it up at the food stamp office.

Prudence is nowhere near perfect though. There would be way less abortions if birth control was free, easily accessible, and 100% effective. Some important steps towards that are the newly developing methods of male birth control.

There’s a 100% way, stop having sex. Birth control is excellent if actually used properly.

Since I know people like to talk about nature/biology/evolution with all this, here's an angle. The "just don't have sex" thing is antithetical to instinct and evolution. Abortions are completely in line with instinct and evolution and are completely natural.

BS, name one species that performs abortions (pre birth). Source for your opinion? You and I are not rodents or rabbits, Homo sapiens (supposedly) have higher intelligence and some form of self control. It’s getting harder and harder to defend this supposition though.

    "Pre birth"

I assure you they would if they had the access to the technology, but no, they have to do it post birth via filial infanticide/cannibalism. It's not rodents or rabbits either, it's even other primates.

Really, other species would have abortions? If they didn’t have primordial tendencies and had the ability, they would have abortions? I work in the biological field, specifically wildlife. Your statement is as stupid as it gets.
