    any thoughts on the Tom Cruise story. He was fired for his religion.

    Paramount Pictures chose not to renew his production company's contract. The studio says his conduct in recent months cost Mission: Impossible III between $100 and $150 million in ticket sales (jumping up and down on Oprah Winfrey's couch proclaiming his love for Katie Holmes and berating Brooke Shields for taking anti-depressants for post-partum depression). Cruise's people say it was because contract talks fizzled.

    Out here you learn that a lot of this stuff is done for the publics benefit, and nothing could be further from the truth of most happenings. We don't pay any attention to these 'flair ups' and they only die down again when their followers settle down and believe their side has won, or something. Those who do the stunt, usually makes a lot of money off of it and both sides go about their lives happy and a lot richer. Just wait and see if I'm not right.

    Ah I heard that he was upset with the 'South Park' depiction of him & the refusal of the company to pull that episode, followed by him threatening not to attend a screening! dont know how true this is LOL
