I just buy the king crab legs and shell them myself if I need the meat for anything. King crab's my favorite, and it usually ends up being cheaper than buying the containers. I will on rare occasion purchase imitation crab meat if I'm making a large amount of dip or stuffed mushrooms for a party though I will generally throw some of the real stuff in there for extra flavor.
