Witnessing Rick Perry trying to put together a sentence in English is like watching a monkey trying to open a locked suitcase. I know history repeats itself and all but I really didn't expect the see Bush back in office so soon after the disaster he wrought just 3 years ago. How desperate is the GOP anyway?

    Florida GOP Debate
    Transcript:
PERRY: “I think Americans just don’t know sometimes which Mitt Romney they’re dealing with. Is it the Mitt Romney that was on the side of…against…the Second Amendment before he was for the Second Amendment…was it was..before he was before these social programs, uh, from the standpoint he was standing, uh, for Roe vs. Wade before he was against Roe, uh, Roe vs. Wade…uh…he was…uh for Race To The Top…
Uh…[pause]…he’s for Obamacare and now he’s against it…I mean, we’ll wait until tomorrow and, and, and wait to see which Mitt Romney we’re really talking to…

Perry said he’s in favor of making English the official language of the U.S. Perhaps he should concentrate on mastering it before the next debate.

You can join Larry Flynt, owner of Hustler magazine, as another far-left liberal in your quest to demean Gov. Perry:

The powers that be would not mind if Perry or obama won. They own both of them.

Well, I guess it is Larry Flint and Mitt Romney...

Before you jump all over me, and post Obama tripping over his tongue on some unrelated occasion, please take a moment to consider that these are from Mitt Romney’s website.

I don't really know what Obama has to do with this. I was waiting for the far left to start attacking the front-runner(s) and it has begun. So the guy trips up a little bit. Give him a break; he's on the national stage. At least he's had leadership experience.

The Left has "attacked" or more accurately quoted all the latest flavors of the month on the far, far Right now passing for the GOP. Cheering for people to die that don't buy insurance, booing a uniformed soldier serving his country just because he asked what the candidates would do to DADT if elected, cheering Perry for executing innocent people, on and on.... It's kind of like faulting someone for shooting you that loads a gun puts it in your hands and points the barrel at themselves and screams SHOOT!!!. If the Left is attacking, and they certainly have the right to do so, you guys are making it pretty easy.

It's like Ann Coulter tweeted, “Governor Perry losing debate with his own tongue.”

I'm sorry, was Perry your choice? You never really said. In fact, I've never heard one of you Righties put your support behind any of these losers. Why the lack of courage on your part?

Lack of courage? We have a year to decide who gets to beat BO, there's no hurry.
I can make this statement with 100% certainty though: Any one of those nine people in the debate last night would be a dramatic improvement over the loser we are saddled with right now.

Listening to Perry try to put together a sentence, you'd never know it though. Maybe wishful thinking on your part? Hum?

C'mon, you can't honestly claim this is the measure by which you gauge a candidate's fitness to win office, can you? If so it would be disengenuis of you not to comment on the multitude of gaffs that roll out of BO's mouth...57 states, seeing dead people in the crowd at a Memeorial Day celebration, referring to servicemen as "corpesmen", not to mention the loop audio & video tapes that are out there with BO's famous "ums" & "uhs".

Or rather they own their respective parties. Which is even worse.

Regardless of what people on the Left or the Right think about Obama as president, one thing they always admit is that he is a powerful orator. It's just funny that you try to attack what is commonly known as one of his strengths.

Andy you've just taken the first step in recognizing that we live in a plutocracy which of course is governance by wealth. And we used to think we lived in a democracy.

You mistakenly believe BO is a great orator because you have been told he is. He is prone to stumbles as much if not more than any other speaker. What BO is is nicely packaged. He is an excellent reader but when he tries to go off-script or is asked something he isn't expecting you get all the "ums" & "uhs" he's famous for.

Do you mean when he is actually thinking about an answer and not just delivering a canned talking point? I thank him for that and if I have to listen to an "um" or an "uh" so that I get a genuine answer, I can tolerate that. Certainly beats mashing the language completely like Perry and Bush or maybe we could just collectively call them "Pushy" since I can't tell the difference between them anyway.

I know that you guys would like to forget Bush existed or that many of his policies are still around or that the recession he brought on is still hurting world economies or that people are still dying in the phony wars he ginned up or the $5.07 Trillion in debt he racked up or that the current cast of misfits on the Right that want to continue his failed policies, BUT, we live on this planet and our memories just aren't as short as yours. I'll be happy to stop going back to Bush when the party of personal responsibility actually takes responsibility for Bush. You voted for him twice, I didn't. That pretty much gives me carte blanche to bring him up whenever I want and as it seems you a pretty flimsy excuse not to bring him up.

You know a lawyer is lying when his lips are moving & you know a lib has lost a debate when he brings up Bush.

You can take up your first criticism with a lawyer. Your second criticism just doesn't make any sense. If you bring up Obama it's Ok but if anyone brings up Bush they have lost the "debate". Becaaaaaause??????

Ummmm....because BO is the president now & has been (no pun intended) for nearly 3 years now?!?!?!?!.
