You are in the minority in that opinion. The group of SC primary voters in Frank Luntz's focus group said the following when Luntz asked the group for “a word or phrase to describe Cain,” some typical responses were: “a breath of fresh air,” “common sense,” “very impressive” and “he had an understanding what it takes to run the government.” He was the clear winner of the debate that was chock full of losers. I doubt he will be as impressive when the real candidates show up and IMO, his biggest weakness should endear you to him: he seems to have an unbridled hatred for everything that Obama does. In the end, that hatred of Obama might be all he needs to gain the support of the conservative right who control the Republican nomination. His race and non-political background will appeal to many of the swing voters in the general election. Mark my words, he will be a player in this process.
