Also, Forced marriage is not acceptable and is deemed to be void. Penalties are the same for men and women. What if a person is wrongly convected you ask? I will give you an example of adultery, you need to have 4 reputable witnesses that actually see the man's penis inside the women's vagina, the exception is if a husband swears that his wife is cheating, she can swear that she is not and nothing will happen to her. So it is not as simple as the circumstantial evidence that we have in the current legal system. I guess one question we'd have to ask is at what point does abuse become an "acceptable" part of the faith? It is all well and good to say that only radicals behave in this manner. It is also possible to say that for every Muslim that commits these abuses there are at least a hundred more who eschew violence and rape. However, if ordinary Muslims continue to turn their gaze away from the problem or deny that it even exists, has abuse of women not become acceptable to the masses? Is it not as much as part of the culture as abstaining from alcohol or fasting during Ramadan? If the Muslim faith is going to repair its image, people need to come out loud and strong against these abuses and take the power away from those who commit them by bringing them to justice in some way.

I know and you know that there are many good Muslims who want to live in harmony with people, but the whole "these atrocities only take place in non-Islamic countries" nonsense is just excusing bad behavior that occurs once the bad apples get out from under the thumb of a totalitarian regime. I would think that people who want acceptance would be on better behavior in "other people's" countries instead of excusing their wretched behavior. You misunderstood me HollysMom, I am not giving excuses, I am saying if they make mistakes they should be punished, or even kicked out of the country, the host country should deal with them as it sees fit. But I do get your point, they should behave better.

You say I do not want to debate you but what is it to debate, I post images of everyday palestine muslims celebrating 911 and you say it is ok because of Israel. You say that only terrorist are to blame for attacks and I post how everyday sunni muslims are massively targeting white christian women and girls in the european nations that welcomed them for their Imans said it was ok to do as such. I post how muslims are trying to kill or convert with threat of death of christians and people of other religions in africa and you say it is only terrorists. Why just a week or so ago another 80 christian men, woman and children were murdered and 300 wounded when christian villages in Nigeria were attacked by mobs of muslims. But that is ok for the west says nothing has been your retort as in Sudan where hundreds of thousands of non muslim women were raped and millions have been murdered. The majority of muslims right now do not want to live with the rest of the world as equals, they want to dominate, repress and then get rid of all non muslims over time by conversion or death. That is why Saudi banks and government directly fund the sunni terrorists as well as spend billions a year to brain wash muslims to only follow their brand of islam. That is why the middle eastern world often has telephones to raise money for terrorists for future actions or for the families of the sucide bombers. I have been in the middle east on base and much time off base in many places. I have seen the beheading videos being sold in the street. I know what is going on. Many do but many do not want to for confronting what Islam really is means watching a preview of what could be the end of the world. Hey and isn't that what the leaders of Iran have been speaking about as well.
