Is there any reality in Reality TV? I have to say no. These shows are all trash and are just plain annoying. We are getting way to many on TV these days that follow famous people. I do not care to see how many times you go shopping or where you are vacationing at. I think it is just a ploy to let every one know how much money you have.
I have never watched the Jersey Shores or Real Worlds or Celebrity This or Celebrity That. Those have zero interest to me. But, I do enjoy watching shows like Pawn Stars, Dirty Jobs, Deadliest Catch, American Pickers and 'reality' stuff like that from time to time. Some of that stuff is less than total reality too at times, of course. A little drama or scripting is pretty much a given. I am also somewhat addicted to prison and crime reality shows. Lock Up. Lockdown. Las Vegas Jailhouse. Stuff like that. COPS too. I also find those Hoarder shows to be like a train wreck that I just can't pass without taking a look at. lol
The shows like American pickers have some interest in them. But shows like the Real World and Jersey shore are about as fake as you can get.
